A jewel in the oldest rainforest on this earth. It's tranquil, secluded inside the rainforest, and you will be undisturbed by your phone as there is no phone signal! I initially freaked out abit, but its actually a blessing in disguise to be able to disconnect for a while. I loved how I could explore during the day; Mara gave us the run down of all the activities and sights in the area. Snorkelling out in the GBR from Cape Tribulation, night walk in the rainforest, exotic fruit tasting to name a few. There was an abundance of space to relax, sit and read. The number of occupants are small, and I got to meet some amazing women staying there at the same time. Daily meditation and yoga in the "temple" room was so wonderful. Breakfast and dinner were deliciously nutritious. Jinardhan and Mara both do an amazing job at running the place. I will definitely be back and will stay longer!

I had the best time at prema shanti ! The biggest thank you to Mara and Janardhan for making my experience a completely unforgettable one. The retreat itself was absolutely breathtaking, a real adventure for all of the senses. You get to enjoy every sound and smell of the rainforest. An abundance of flora and fauna right at your doorstep. Literally speaking, we had a cassowary walk right up to us! Perfect location to enjoy activities in cape tribulation, whether you are into snorkellking, jungle ziplining, horse riding, swimming in the beautiful swimming holes, you can't go wrong. It truly is paradise. The food in incredible. Mara makes amazing vegetarian meals, I am pretty sure the secret ingredient is love. The meditation and yoga were beautiful practices. Led by both mara and janardhan. They are very knowledgeable and loving individuals who can help guide you through whatever it is you are looking to improve in your life. I came to prema shanti feeling defeated, unhappy with my life and with little to no confidence in myself. I left feeling invigorated, confident and loved. I have a new sense of happiness that I could not be more grateful for. Mara and Janardhan took me under their wing and into their hearts. They gave me guidance physically, emotionally and spiritually. I could not be more grateful to have met them. I will definitely be returning to prema shanti and I definitely recommend it to others.
