Received a fine from a cop here and they gave me someone else's fine somehow? The officer didn't bother getting in touch with me after trying to contact the station they just didn't seem to care.
Thank you to the police officers today who came very quickly after I called the station because I was broken down at an intersection and they stayed with me until roadside assistance came to fix my car. Thank you!!
Constable Youi - I called up prahran police station to inquire about some information regarding a breach of privacy and my vehicle that was impounded . Constable Yui was extremely rude and hostile , he disregarded any intention to help . The first phone call on the 22.2.22 @ 16:45 . He did not answer my question and said he would not email Sargent Timothy Lambourne to follow up my query. And then the Phone call was ended . The guy I purchased the vehicle from sent me a message which showed the details of my licence suspension and the 0.1 limit I blew over . I then contacted the police station again at 15:12 on the 22.2.22 and advised of the information I had just received . Constable Youi then responded harshly and asked me what am I trying to achieve by having this conversation. I expressed that I was confused and wanted some clarification into the breach of privacy . He then told me , im not going get into somebody else’s work and I should just email the Sargent . When he already knows I have had no correspondence from the Sargent . Then he hung up . This behaviour is absolutely disgusting , the police are supposed to serve and protect and help civilians. I politely had a query and I was meant with hostility , negligence and such negativity . This is not how you serve the community , if you are not out in the street and are on desk duty or admin and you can answer a call . What is 5 mins of explaining or trying to help and individual . I contacted the Constable previously and feel disgusted because this was racially motivated . He has not respect clearly for woman and civilians . There is a massive god complex that he holds in the tone of his voice and the way he speaks to an individual. I’m literally paying your salary for to speak to me like I’m less than . Disgusting
Loud noises from roadworks involving drilling started right outside my house around 8:30pm. Continued until at 11pm, I rang this police station and told them about it. The officer whom I spoke to told me they are allowed to work all hours. When I asked him, how anyone is supposed to sleep with this racket going on, he was very unsympathetic and replied, “you just have to try”. How pathetic! I then googled and found Vic road guidelines which stipulate road works should occur during work hours as much as possible and if outside these hours they need to provide justification and council and epa permit. I will contact them on Monday to find out.
Unhelpful and condescending. Sergent Tyson Kosmina was helpful, but other officers I talked to made me feel stupid for even considering asking for help.
Reported a house burglary to 000, all you get is a reference number, when you call up the police station to follow up, they won’t tell you anything, just that the person from that division isn’t in their office! And keep waiting!

Went for an alcohol interlock removal interveiw. They were so polite. I think the officers name was Ellen. My entire perception of the Victoria police has changed. I have far more respect for the police now after dealing with the young officer. Hope u keep providing this great service to the community. Tax money well spent.
An item of personal value and limited but significant financial value got stolen from my luggage on the way to Melbourne. The airline wouldn't even consider doing anything without a police report. So I went to the station. First I was told that because the item wasn't of high value they can't file it at all. Only because I could claim personal value to it would they even consider filing it. I was told they would call me with a case number once it is filed... haven't received a call until today.
Went to the police station at mid night to report an incident. I waited for about 15 minutes to be served, I could clearly hear officers inside talking and some leaving the office but no one served me. I left the station without reporting the incident. No wonder why there is crime in the area, if the concerned authorities do not wish to report incidents, let alone be proactive.
