I hope this might help someone in an off chance that they're in a similar situation. I'm not very concerned about an undesirable sentence but I do care a lot about certain unwritten principles...

I think it was a bit low of Rebecca Fogerty to tell me to go see a psychiatrist of her choosing (who had a 2 month wait list) or to go find another lawyer. I had already paid a substantial sum to have her go through the brief of evidence, other documents, consultations and to have various emails and questions ignored. No other lawyer set such a condition.

I left as I found a forensic psychologist who not only knows that there's nothing wrong with me but who understood everything that I couldn't get across to my lawyer.

I wish she had told me that a forensic psychological report as opposed to a forensic psychiatric report details circumstances of offences and tells my side of the story which is what I cared about the most.

I wish she hadn't dismissed me as crazy when I tried to explain that a conviction and losing my research career is better than being placed under the mental health system. Especially since there is nothing mentally wrong with me and especially if the doctor were to misdiagnose me as delusional the way my lawyer had.

She said "I don't know why you bother seeing a lawyer if you're not going to take my advice. You're wasting my time." - Because the advice was bad and I don't know how a senior lawyer could misinterpret a case so much. At the time I thought it would be easier to try change her mind than to start all over with another lawyer.
