Poor customer service and unfriendly to say the least. No wonder people are buying online and putting these idiots out of jobs. So don't complain about the way retail is going.

I had a horrible experience at Portmans Jindalee on the 22.11.15 I found a beautiful dress that was faulty but I thought that I would be able to fix it by sewing on a new zip. When I went to purchase the item, the way the lady at the counter address me made me feel uneasy she exchange smirks with the other female staff member while putting through my transaction.

I was nothing but polite, I did not provoke any negativity but when it came to putting my purchase into a bag they exchange another smirk and cut off the label saying it was the company's policy since it's a faulty item and it's to prevent me form returning the dress.

Now I have been shopping at Portmans Jindelee several times and this was the first time it has ever happen to me. I would have been more accepting if it wasn't for the attitude form both female staff members or perhaps if they had warned me that they were going to cut the label off before I had actually made the purchase.

These two ladies made me feel like I was being targeted and unwelcome in the store, they definitely lack professionalism and it is quite questionable why they are in retail if this is how they treat customers.
