Fabulous but difficult to locate asked 3 people as l drove past it not realizing it was on the actual foreshore.  Staff certainly know about Portland lots of maps local places of interest and activities to do. If l asked a question staff told me as l am a new resident

Fantastic location right on the foreshore. Knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful staff. Lots of free brochures and maps. There is also a Maritime Museum and a cafe overlooking the bay.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The lady who dealt with us gave us many great suggestions of things to do in Portland. She was even able to answer my 'left field' question about a feature on the map.

Good place to check on local tourist attraction. Very helpful people. The whale carcass is a bit overrated, otherwise highly recommend to visit if you want to learn about the area.
