Story

Welcome to Porterhouse Blues Family Restaurant & Bar located in Kings Street, Upper Hutt (directly opposite Tony Tyres Service).

We offer a wide range of food and beverage, starting off with our $13.50 Lunches (Mon - Fri ) and then a Brunch menu (Sat & Sun) as well as our 7 day week Dinner Menu.
We also have a Chefs Specials of the week which runs every fortnight as well as our homemade desserts for those who have a sweet tooth and our 2 for $25 Pizza Specials which run Sun - Tues.

Available to your needs also is our Private Function room for those special occasions such as Birthdays, Corporate meetings, Staff functions,Christmas functions ETC, as well as the home to our Quiz Nights held every Thursday nights at 7pm.

So come on in and enjoy a great meal in a relaxing and friendly enviroment or for a nice cold drink after work.

I had a good time! Everybody was friendly and we enjoyed our food. Not to mention the atmosphere is really well done, it's honestly everything I could ask for from a restaurant experience. Ran like a well-oiled machine.

Absolutely shocking. Arrived before 7pm and were left to feel like we were intruding. Got offered a drink quickly but that's where the good service ended. Poorly cooked pork belly and more fat than steak on my meal. Finished our drinks before our meals arrived and offered nothing else throughout the experience. Really disappointed as we were the only people in the restaurant and it was like we weren't here. Can't give no stars unfortunately.

Me & the Family have had very nice meals from there.
It's got great heating with the wood burners going.
Nice staff as well & a menu with plenty of options.
This would suit people wanting a nice quiet setting.
