Just bought my first pair of Dr Martens in store and I cannot praise the staff highly enough! The first lady was super helpful and put them on hold while I sorted out finances. Went back in today and  a lovely guy helped me out and was so helpful and patient! The supervisor there is so lovely too, really helpful and it's clear there is a great work environment which in turn creates a fantastic customer experience. Cannot rate highly enough!

I have just had great service from Adam at the Queen Street store. Professional and helpful service with a smile. Full of knowledge about his products and an all round nice guy. It was so worth the trip into the city! We need to get back in there and make it the vibrant place it was. Thanks Adam. I love my Dr Martin sandals.

I just wanna say massive thank you to the staff who helped me get this pair of shoes. I was a bit bummed when the store didn’t have my size but she went all out to try and help me get these from other stores. This was shipped to my house in two days! I’m so happy, thank you so much to the staff and platypus  Awesome customer service!

Customer service was amazing here I bought shoes within 10 minutes of entering and was helped by a young man with black hair, that I unfortunately did not get the name of. Very happy with my purchase, and the layout of the store is great and I enjoyed the  music played by dj. Definitely recommend to others.

My twin brother and I bought a pair of Air Force 1s today and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We were helped by the assistant manager Toby he was very friendly and helpful and had good knowledge of shoes. Overall very satisfied with customer service and the shoes and definitely will shop here again :

Wore it for 1 fricken hour no damage whatsoever but told that it cant be exchanged for 1 size up cause its 'dirty'. Gosh bad experience don't buy from here, there is better places than platypus

This review has been delayed too long. I went into the Platypus Shoes Queen Street branch shortly after Christmas and the staff member attending to me went well beyond the call of duty. When there were no pairs of the shoes I wanted in my size in the store,  the staff member ran out of the building and to another location where she found some! Incredible service! Platypus was already my favourite shoe store but this really solidified my feeling. Thanks!

I had a most awful, sexist experience here!  I entered the shop simply to pick up shoes my daughter had ordered and paid for online.  I was ignored.  I went to the checkout desk and was ignored despite me asking twice for someone to please assist me.  After 13 minutes of waiting, I was told I could not pick up the shoes unless I was the purchaser with a photo id.  It was Christmas Eve.  I returned to my car in tears of frustration.  My husband then went in, was immediately assisted, and was given the shoes even though he had no wallet or id with him - and without any questions asked.    I was grateful he was able to pick up the shoes for Christmas . . . but I will never ever frequent this store again after being treated so rudely AND with a male going in for the same purpose and being treated entirely differently.  Very disappointed.
