Nice dining experience on our way to Adelaide and my friend found this place. We sat on deck with a magnificent view. Normally I wouldn’t be amazed if I ordered big breakfast as it’s all pretty much the same taste. However this time it tasted different. The beans are awesome and the eggs are fresh. I specifically love the sausage. Coffees are okay as I’ve tasted so many good ones thus setting up a pretty high standard. Service is also attentive and good. Nice place to enjoy a quite sunny morning!
Great location, I can imagine how nice it would be breakfast or dinner over looking the lake. The meals are reasonablly nice casual bistro dining style and the place is fairly spacious with plenty of room between tables. There are some outside tables, which would have been a great option on a warmer day. Kid-friendliness: They have standard kids menu
Lovely place on the lake, indoor and outdoor seating as well as outside takeaway kiosk Ordered steak sandwich and milkshake for lunch, was amazing, bread a little hard to cut Turkish break.. but everything else was really good, enough sauce and nicely cooked. Service was great giving the staff shortage Went back for breakfast the next day and ordered eggs benedict and big breakfast, really enjoyed the eggs benny, same thing with the bread, hard to cut but again was Turkish so might just be the bread type. Coffee was good too, really liked the Swan art on the mocha Breakfast on Saturday started at 10, not 8am just in case you're in early as well. Grabbed coffee and came back after 22/10/22 Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with colour in and crayons available, kids drinks juice/milkshakes/spiders and high chairs for little ones Parking: Lots of parking outside on both sides of the street
Warm and cosy cafe in the middle of the beautiful botanical gardens. A lovely refuge from the cold weather. Friendly service all round and great presentation of hot drinks. Coffee was a little burnt though maybe we just got unlucky.
My go to place for Devonshire tea as well as light meals n good coffee. The scones are huge, see photo. Situated bt Lake Wendouree, both inside n outside dining avail. Warning tho does get busy at times, best to book weekends esp.
I really enjoyed my lunch at Piper's. I chose the Barramundi, Greek Salad, and chips Which cost nearly $30, and I wasn't disappointed The service was quick and friendly, and not to mention the food was tasty. The Cafe itself is beautifully positioned next to the western side of the lake, giving the option to eat either outside or inside.
Have been meaning to go here for quite sometime now. Food was amazing, couldn’t indulge in conversation. Ahaha. View was great and staff were nice. Would be coming back soon.
A great restaurant with great staff, beautiful views & food, especially the Barramundi serve, would like to come back to enjoy again and again Food: 5/5
We’ve eaten here before and the food was good. Popped in today for a takeaway coffee and it’s nothing to write home about and service is a little disjointed and angles along at their own pace. However, the ambience and location is nice so if you’re not in a hurry and are more interested in the food than the coffee, it’s a nice place to while away the time having a yarn with someone near and dear.
The food itself and coffee experience is fairly good but did not particularly stand out from other brunch eateries especially when considering the price being maybe a little above the standard pricing spending close to $35 for brunch. However, the general vibe of the place and outdoor dining area was very nice. The highlight for the brunch experience would definitely be the exceptional service. The young gentleman waiter was bright, cheerful and more than happy to help! More service staff like that is needed!
