Nice spot, good food although the salad I had tonight lacked dressing. The staff could be more attentive. It wasn't too busy in the restaurant when we were there tonight yet we had to wait a while for service and for tables to be cleared. (Food came out promptly though). Burgers and mussels were great. Our group weren't offered a menu for dessert so we went elsewhere.

Excellent venue, lovely staff. Had our annual Christmas event here and they were very accommodating, polite and easy to work with. The food was extraordinary and drinks well priced.

Went there last week. It has the atmosphere and decorum of a truly fine restaurant however the food is not in sync with the decorum standards. Wait staff is friendly but a bit untrained. Again compared to the style of the restaurant this is a bit inconsistent. Would I dine here again - maybe.

Nice location / Poorly trained staff with bad attitudes. I ordered a medium steak and it came out well - done and bone dry, I informed the waitress and she didn't really care and she informed us we'd have to wait an hour for another.. Plus on ordering the steak they ask what sauce you'd like as most restaurants do but at The Pier they charge an additional $2.50!? (Tight and bad business) The food and service should speak for its self and it didn't. We left disappointed and hungry

The $45 "Scotch Fillet" is actually a $25 Sirloin.. at best. Order "Gluten Free" from the menu, it comes with beer battered chips. Nice view, just have a drink and keep walking...
