Built over 100 years ago as a working cargo wharf and passenger transit point, Pier One Sydney Harbour is rich in character where the historic details of the past have been intricately transformed into a modern contemporary hotel.
Boutique in size, the 5-star hotel features 189 unique federation style rooms with contemporary chic furnishings and original timber and ironwork features that were the centrepieces of the historic Pier One Wharf.

I loved it here, would of gotten 5 stars if pier access rooms were able to be used. Staff were so helpful and lovely from the moment I arrived.  Dog friendly room with bowls and beds.  Blind didn’t work but was fixed when asked.  Outside over the water is dog friendly to watch the sunset.  Great location up walk around especially for vivid.  Definitely would stay again

Have just had a very memorable stay with Pier One Sydney. So much to love, including the room, location, bed, staff, cleanliness and breakfast. We had one of the Drive & Stay packages, but were treated like we'd booked one of the top of the range suites. Now that's the sign of a quality establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed our extras that were gifted to us as it was a special occasion. Thank you so much. Five stars all the way. Wayne & Judy Amor.     

A hidden gem of Sydney! A lovely hotel in such a great location and only a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Circular Quay and the CBD.  Rooms were great and the welcome drink on check in was a nice touch. Outdoor area overlooking the water was a lovely spot to enjoy the sun. Staff were all pleasant and nothing was a problem. Rates were competitive with other properties in the area.  I will most definitely recommend to others and will stay again when I next travel to Sydney.

I recently stayed at Pier One for a work trip and was very impressed. The hotel is beautiful, clean and smells absolutely incredible. Obviously the location is excellent; only a short walk into the Sydney CBD and the view of the harbour bridge is hard to beat. My room was very quiet, which was great, although there was only a small window so not loads of natural light in the room itself.

Staff was amazing and had our room ready when we arrived at 10 a.m. from our international flight which was greatly appreciated.  Breakfast each day was delicious and beautiful view of the harbor. This hotel is conveniently located to The Rocks & Quay area. We also loved it's history.Rooms: 5/5

Valet staff accidentally reversed another car into my car on 21/9/22. Manager assured me they have the BEST insurance company and no need to do anything...... at LEAST 6 emails to Marriott and I have still not heard from the insurance company 18/10/22. Seems I have to keep following up! Pretty average really. Stay was good but the position makes it so much better. Staff Interviews and just weekly meetings etc going on in bar areas is below par. If its not busy, thats a nice thing for a guest so don't try to pretend you are busy. Would absolutely prefer to not write this review but it is what it is with a car that has a broken nose.

Loved the location on the harbour. Was greeted kindly by staff and offered a welcome drink. My wife and I arrived a bit earlier than expected and the hotel did the best to accommodate early check in. No issues with the room, everything was nice and clean.Rooms: 5/5

I absolutely love this hotel! My partner booked this hotel as we drove from Melbourne and wanted an overnight stay with our dog. Walking distance from the Sydney bridge and Opera House. Lots of restaurants near the strip. They also have in house bar and complimentary breakfast. Valet parking was also offered. Our dog also gets a special treatment as he gets his doggy bed and bowl for his overnight stay with us lol. He also loves the free treats they gave him! The concierge people are also lovely as they offered to get our dog's food in our car fridge when we left it there last night. Pets are also allowed in the outdoor dining area. I would definitely want to come back here again. It is clean and amenities are good. I highly recommend this pet friendly hotel  

Great hotel with very helpful staff. The only thing that we were disappointed in was a cherry picker parked right outside our room which blocked the bridge view completely. Not the staffs fault and they were very helpful and showed us some alternative rooms. We decided to keep the room we there in because of the size and character of the room. They did get us complimentary breakfast 

A friendly greeting, a lovely view in a well appointed room and such a great location. If you compare this to the nearby offerings on the balance of amenities, price and location: nothing comes close. No hotel is perfect, and this place is no exception but everything that didn’t hit as we would have liked was quickly and attentively remediated by the amazing staff here.
