I could go to this kind of church every Sundays .... although this Sunday establishment will need to do better. It has all the right ingredients for an eclectic inner suburbia cafe, but it wasn't busy on Sunday morning around 10 am. Footpath tables weren't occupied, a couple were inside when we arrived and a few take away orders and two couples at the backyard, which is shaded by this giant tree, very inviting relaxing space. Melbourne inner city leafy suburb of Armadale is well established with many old houses, buildings and churches. This cafe is housed in one of them. Walking into this cafe feels like walking inside a church, somewhat ..... it has lots of old vintage stuff, mini chandeliers, converted old table benchtop, bits and pieces and the piece/s of resistance a couple of those Reverend's or Freemason high back chairs, we were seated by the window in two of those chairs, with part of Boticelli's Venus print overlooking at us, premium spot, thank you. Gotta love the toilet too, a converted shed with a bit of art in it, it can always bring an extra joy going to the loo, just make sure that you are not 180 cm + Unfortunately, coffee was below average, not very Melbournian. Ample things on the Menu, although Corn Fritters were sold out at 10 am. In terms of their food, Brunch menu was ordinary too, badly presented, boring white plates, even no seasoning with the well made Potato Rosti and just an average boring Eggs Benedict too. Service is a tad slow but they are so friendly and pleasant, neat and modestly dressed too. Trust you can do a lot better, it has all the right ingredients or heck I might just come in to sit on those chairs.
I tried the Eggs Benedict and my wife the Corn Fritters. Both were cooked and presented well. Coffee and Chai were both good. Standard breakfast fair, done perfectly.
Very cosy and warm cafe. Decor lovely with interesting and varied collection of paintings and prints. Great coffee. Lovely service. Has rear courtyard for warmer days.

Took 45 min for a quick lunch to arrive, we kept getting told it was almost ready. Then they brought me the wrong meal. Food was OK, but not worth the wait
Great food. Great wine. Great coffee. Very friendly, cheerful service.
No longer Feast. Now called Lavendar. Had coffee there recently and it is just not the same.
Went here today with friends, the establishment was not to busy. The food was great and drinks turned up nice and quick.
The good was very over priced for what you got.
