To many issues to note. Bond Issues, payment Issue, very slow return of questions and the list goes on.  I would not recommend this agency. I believe they are extremely understaffed hence the extremely simple mistakes and common issues.

I was renting through Peter Blackshaw Manuka and over the 2 years I've had 3 different property managers, the last being the worst! She made passive-aggressive comments about personal items in my house and had many insults directed towards teenagers - boys in particular (I have 4 teens, 2 boys) and I found this incredibly unprofessional and rude. The high staff turnover speaks volumes about the company itself. On many occasions the property owner had to visit our house but he himself was impressed by the upkeep of the property. Prior to our final inspection we had the house professionally cleaned and provided receipts to Peter Blackshaw, however during the final inspection the property manager was - in her words "disgusted" by the state of the house because she had found hair as she pointed to an eyelash with her pen which I had to "clean up to avoid a deduction from my bond money". I felt humiliated and belittled by this type of behaviour. The property owner himself had absolutely no problem with the state of the house and said that he'd never had a place looked after so well. It took close to two and a half months for us to get our bond back. 
Overall I would never reccomend renting through Peter Blackshaw!

We were very happy with Peter Blackshaw.  Very professional service, great agent, excellent auctioneer.  Realistic advice about price.  House sold at auction after a three-week campaign.

Very professional and experienced staff, who are always willing to assist and have an excellent knowledge of the Canberra property market. I wouldn't have any hesitation recommending this real estate.
