If you're an animal lover looking for advice or shopping, this store is perfect for you. The staff here are knowledgeable, helpful and polite. I was searching for tissue culture aquarium plants and the staff was very helpful. She went out of her way to check with her manager if they were getting any more stock next week. I'm quite happy with their quick service, and would definitely recommend this store.
Normally Vic Roads can be difficult to navigate, however the St Alban's branch was a pleasure to visit. The staff were extremely helpful and the lady I spoke to went out of her way to help.
INSECT INFESTED DOG FOODnI bought near expired dog food this morning and when I opened it it was infested with insects. Drove it back and waited for over 10minutes for the manager to appear out of her office in an empty store. Asked to have an exchange, but no other items were discounted to the same degree within 50% and she informed me that it could not be a straight exchange, that I would have to pay difference as management would question her if she did exchange it for an item that was also close to expired but cost slightly more. When questioned how I would know that the nxt bag woud not be infested, she said she would ooen it instore afyer I paid the difference. I let her know that she may need to explain a bad review to management, she did not mind.nNot only was the food full of nests and grown black shiny insects, the bag was left standing open in Petbarn infeating the store.. After transporting it for 10min in my car, my car had 10 creepy crawlers looking for a new home. Now her whole store will be infested and she has an unhappy customer that wasted an hour of her time that won't ever come to the store again as none of the three staff members appeared to enjoy their job and kept me and a gentleman that arrived 5min after me waiting until I asked someone to help him out pls.
Went in this morning to buy supplies for my puppies. Needed help with specific products which the front counter lady was trying to help. She then asked her supervisor and manager for advice but they couldn’t come and help me because they were too busy?!? Never going there again. Very rude and not helpful.
If you’ve closed a till but are still standing behind it, perhaps put a sign up.nDon’t be passive aggressive and direct your customers to another one.nIt’s not obvious to us that’s it’s closed.nRude old manager
