Went in for a quick tech check. Finished in half the time they said, which was great. Good detail on the report, but I'd suggest some serious customer service training. When you ask a customer "Oh, do you work full time?", they respond "No", and then turn around and ask "well, if you can't afford it, we have a payment plans we can arrange", you HAVE to expect the customer isn't going to respond well to that. A simple change of tact would have been able to communicate the availability of payment plans, without being condescending to the customer. What I earn part time is none of the business' concern, nor is income the only reason payment plans are useful. Management or head office need to sort this out. Nor is part time work not profitable! If the issue of poor handling of customer service hadn't occurred, I would have given 5 stars. Update: I received a call out of the blue from the shop staff member offering an apology for what happened and explained what happened. I'll give them credit for that. My experience didn't seem to reflect other reviews about the same shop so seemed out of character. Moving from 3 to 4 stars for the follow-up

Very helpful staff. They stayed back late one afternoon to help out with a suspension emergency

Had a suspension check and dodgy handbrake investigated/repaired, didnt discuss price beforehand, was fearing $600 on pickup, all done for under $30.
