The highlight of my NZ trip, these guys knocked it out the park. Double cheeseburger was sensational, the brisket smashed patties outstanding, and crinkle cut fries delicious. Not to mention the fried chicken with blue cheese and sriracha service was great - food delivered to the table and a satisfaction check done nWife had the fish burger and that vanished pretty quickly, so must have been good
Great comfort food for a cold evening. We had pulled pork burger, chicken wings and loaded fries - all delicious and generous portions. My husband had a thick milk shake - he said it was the best he had since arriving in NZ - we arrived in 2001!! Customer service - warm and welcoming!nWe had a First Table booking.
Taupo's Best Burgers was advertised so I had to try it. The Kiwiana Burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had and the best part was the overload of sauces.nnBeef was high quality and the bacon was really tasty. Also get the potato loaded fried as that was delicious. We really enjoyed the glass drink bottles like the classic L&P bottles so much that we kept our bottles.nnAtmosphere is great and the service was perfect. My only complaint was the honey butter fried chicken could be saliter as I couldn't taste the butter.nnOverall, great place that I'll recommend to others!
The burgers were just right, freshly cooked and taste great. We didn’t realise how generous the serving size was and over ordered.
