We were amazed at the price and quality of salmon pieces. Lovely family business. This is great value for lunch and fresh ingredients. Kid-friendliness: Lovely variety of sushi.
Japanese sushi and bento tray etc etc all prepared by Filipino staff. Great effort and popular amongst tourists. We ordered the ultimate bento and salmon bento for lunch. The tempura batter is very thick and lack the light crispy texture. It was a bit soggy I had to leave them. The rice could be better seasoned. But the salmon and teriyaki chicken was tasty and worth trying. Overall, it’s okay.
Absolute rubbish food! Not even edible! Tempura prawn and vegetable covered in thick stodgy batter with heaps of oil trapped inside. Teriyaki chicken dry and not teriyaki sauce! More like a cheap teriyaki marinade from the supermarket! This place is so appalling ! How are they still in business??!
The japanese ramen soup wasn't good, not typical Japanese restaurants would serve. Sushi looks okay but a bit of smell on the rice.
Food was terrible, like it came straight from the microwave from the freezer. Should have read reviews before coming here. Highly not recommended.Food: 1/5
Ordered a "ramen prawn + chicken" and asked if I can swap the chicken out for pork and they said okay but when the ramen came, it was chicken. It wasn't a big deal but we went back to the counter and asked if we can please have the pork we ordered and the lady got defensive and argued that we did not ask to swap and in the end we had to top up some money to get the right order. Note: both the chicken and pork were the same price on the menu that's why we didn't think it was gonna be a problem to swap, but it's clearly proven to be a challenge.
I come here for the bubble tea as I’m not a big fan of the sushi, but every time they’ve been very sweet to me. They’re very short staffed at the moment and the one lady works every day they’re open so I reckon it’s best to be patient as they’re working terribly hard! Over the past year there has been definite improvement and it hasn’t gone unnoticed!
The sushi was delicious accept the sweet Chilli chicken was tough. The shop is very small when diners are inside and people lined up getting orders from the case or menu. Otherwise the service was great!Food: 4/5
We live locally and every SINGLE time we have gone into this place the lady at the front is so rude. Every single time we have come in we have wanted to order something from the menu only to hear “only from the cabinet” “we arent cooking anymore”. We thought it was because we were coming in an hour before closing so we went in several hours before closing and the same thing… whats the point in having a menu if you arent going to use it?
