Coffee reasonable, fast service. Not a smile in the place! Not even eye contact. Appalling  customer relations. Even my attempts to engage the staff with smiles and thanks went absolutely nowhere.  Surprised  this franchise is still in business. The staff certainly don't look happy.

Decent coffees and babycinos. Could do with some high chairs and consistency in staff to up service quality.

Disappointing experience with both the cake and their customer service. Went for a small 6 inch balckforest, when she took it out the cream on the outside was smudged up, I recalled seeing the same cake walking pass the day before, so I said" Oh! I thought this one with the smudged cream yesterday walking by!" "Oh really."Then she became rude and angry without saying anything but chucking the packaging box back to the shelf. There is another Pattison's on LG Chatswood Chase, much better than this one.

I have a cup of cap and butter chicken pie in this café for three or four times every week. They taste nice, specially the coffee. I am very surprised about one star here! I'll try other kind of food some day before I add star up.

Sure, I'll be the first one to write a review. FOOD POISONING. No one wants to talk about it but it happens. Its really unfortunate for franchise businesses that don't get to control their source of supply. 
Its even worse when it strikes down someone who has only consumed food from that franchise that day. 

Its a terrible thing when there is no recourse for the owner to discount these claims as there was nothing else consumed from anywhere else on that day. 

For the price being gouged for these mass produced treats, you kind of want them to be prepared that day. Or even made fresh. Made fresh used to be a thing they did at St Ives. 

But when you're going through a too fast expansion i guess you have to cut some corners and make a few 8 month pregnant people sick. 

Service is usually sh;thouse too. They are more concerned with charging you more to dine in than getting the coffee right. 

To sum it up, Champagne Prices, Spilt cask wine produce wrapped up beautifully in a box.
(it was a croissant  BTW pretty sure it had been put on a nasty surface prior to being handed over. Safe food handling practices are a pretty simple thing IMHO)
