I bought a beautiful old Edwardian side counter from Past Connections on the weekend and experienced fabulous service, and I found the lady serving me, was very patient with all my questions. Her knowledge of the product was outstanding.

Business is run by a husband and wife team. The husband is lovely; the wife has no interpersonal skills. On hearing my foreign accent, she stared at me and said, "Oh, you're probably the wife of an expat and won't want to buy anything." (I've been here 23 years and was about to buy a cabinet.)
