Pie completely falling apart when eating it, looks like the crust wasn’t fully cooked through. Same with the frittata, wasn’t fully cooked in the middle either.nnEDIT:nnI had originally put a 2 stars review as I wanted to still be nice as it can happen to have misses when cooking food, but given the amazingly nice answer I got from the owner below, I had to downgrade it to 1 star.nnAs for the owner’s answer since you can’t reply to a reply, I will reply in the same friendly tone as theirs:n1. “You came in when we were closed” : yeah because your closing time on Google Maps was written as 3 pm and you didn’t bother to correct it I just corrected it for you, you’re welcome I guess despite being quick to answer to the reviews. So I had no idea you were closing and I couldn’t sit as you only told me you were closing once I had already ordered.n2. The frittata being reheated or not shouldn’t matter as it should be fully cooked the first timen3. You conveniently dodged the “pie crust not fully cooked and falling apart” part, which is the main reason I had left 2 stars.n4. No apologies at all from your side for serving undercooked food, just attacking me for leaving an honest review on a subpar experiencen5. Yes the rest of my holiday was 5 stars thanks as this was the worst meat pie I have eaten in my entire travel in Australia, so nothing can beat this.
Amazing food, reasonable prices and friendly service! Loved the mango frappe so much, you could tell it was made with real fruit! The salmon and bacon bennes were also incredible! Great serving size, perfect flavour and really nice and rich with a bit of tomato to balance it all out.
Goodies was recommended by a coffee place in Port Douglas to try for coffee. Yes, great coffee, excellent chips and one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. And the juice was to die for. I was re-energized for the ride back to Port Douglas.
Fantastic stop at about 2:30pm- dropped in for a late lunch. Welcomed with a smile - and we had the BEST quiche, and a fantastic lasagne, a curry pie. Coffee also right on the money! Mixed berry frappe was nice and chillled, and the caramel and chocolate shakes hit the spot for the kids. Will certainly be back!!nOverall one of the best spots up this way!
We are travelers 63 countries and all 7 continents. We are currently in a camper van traveling along the Sunshine Coast of Australia. I desperately wanted a coffee and saw the simple sign in Mossman. First I enjoyed the most delicious Chicken Schnitzel on a butter bun, then I fell deeply in love with the sea food pie. OMG the food is all home made and carefully prepared by an incredible chef l. The staff are simply amazing and the town is awesome. Come please
