Nice cafe. Ordered grilled chicken burger that came with chips. The chips were pretty good. Prawn pasta had some spice to it even without the extra chilli oil, great if you like it spicy. Ordered the beautiful cupcake to go.
I am a lemon meringue fan, when I m in the Castle Hill area. I will drop by and enjoy my lemon meringue at Passiontree Velvet. Nice peak of the meringue, we’ll balance not overly sweet. Coffee ok not great! Is located next to the Myer store.
We have been here couple of times and the food, coffee has always been great. Highly recommended!! Last time we were here for breakfast. The place was quite busy and one staff she was handling herself everything. And macarons were so nice!!! I really like passionfruit macaron Excellent service, Very friendly & welcoming and always smile. Love this place and definately will be going back again.
Dainty cafe in Castle Towers. The chocolate mousse was absolutely devine! Silky smooth chocolate and a crunchy base. Definitely a must try!!! The tea was served in silver trays, would be nice to see it served in teapots to compliment the rest of the decor in the cafe. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Will be back for more.
Passion Tree Cafe & Cake shop in the Castle Hill Tower. It locates right next to the entrance of Myer department on the 2nd floor. This store has a dining area for cafe patrons, but people seem to prefer takeouts. One of best good in this cafe is a good quality of cakes and desserts Highly recommended!
Friendly staff and decent food. Very busy on the weekend though. Definitely not a quiet cafe so don't go if you need to talk but great for lunch or a coffee break.
I have tried coffee, various teas, all of their macarons and many of their cakes. It is definitely my favourite dessert place in castle tower. Their servicing has room for improvement as they are always super busy.
Had a high tea for 5 people today,the experience from when we walked in the door was nothing but exceptional,the staff who greeted us at the door,the young gentleman who took our order who was really patient and didn’t rush us was polite,courteous and very helpful. When it came to the foods it couldn’t be faulted the sandwiches,sweet and drink variety was great,tasty and fresh and plenty of it,you won’t leave hungry. Thank you for making our granddaughters birthday lunch extra special. If you’re looking for a lovely high tea I can thoroughly recommend Passiontree Velvet Castle Hill.
Food prices here are extremely cheap for a city cafe and the quality was great. Love the coffee friendly people here good service
Legitimately one of the worst cafe experiences I’ve ever had. Granted I came in the weekend before Christmas, but some of the worst service I’ve ever had, which was surprising considering just how many wait staff they had on the floor. Had to go inside to find someone to seat us, had to find someone to give us menus 5 minutes after we sat down. Only one drink came out for a table of 4 and followed up as well as the food. 15 minutes later and following up twice more 2 more drinks came out. Then the food apparently got missed because a table that was seated 15 minutes after we came in already had all their food and drinks sorted. So had to wait another 10 minutes for that to go through. Final coffee finally arrived about 35-45 minutes after being ordered which was a little bit ridiculous. The frustration was only made worse by the fact that none of the serving staff at any point came up and provided any update on what was happening. Just had to keep chasing to let them know we didn’t have our food and drinks and then we were basically ignored til the food was ready, then once the food was on our table ignored again. Only one single acknowledgement by one staff member when the final coffee hit the table. Honestly it was extremely rude and I’ve never felt so disrespected in a food service before. Owners need to have a good hard long look at who they’re hiring, the training they provide and who’s actually in charge of the floor.
