I recently decided to spoil my wife on her birthday and purchase a Saint Laurent bag. This was a large purchase for us and a substantial some of money. Because the gift was a surprise, and I couldn’t decide between two bags of near identical price a chain wallet or a camera bag style it was agreed with the sales associate to purchase the chain wallet, and if my wife preferred the other we could exchange it. I was prepared to pay $350 more than identical bag pricing on online competitor sites, for the ability for her to see the bag in person and choose which she loves best. As it turns out my wife did prefer the camera style bag. When she went to exchange it, the day after her birthday, she was charged $330 more because as it so happened the price increased by $300 that very day! Surely, given that the bags were the same price $60 difference a mere few hours prior, there was no need to profiteer and additional $300 just because head office directed a raise in pricing that morning! Furthermore, at the time of purchase I asked whether any discounts were available, and was firmly told no. In looking online, Parlour X offer 10% on first purchase with subscription to their newsletter. Not only was I not told about this, but I was sent their newsletter unsolicited! When confronted with this information I was dismissed and advised my only option was to exchange the bag for a store credit, valid 1 year. This is to assume that we are the type of customer that purchases a $2500 bag every year! So what should have cost $2000 ended up costing $2600. The very same bag is available online for $1900. The attitude of this store is clearly that unless $600 is a trivial amount to you, you are not the type of customer they want. The entire experience has left a bad taste and sullied what should have been a joyful purchase. If money is no object to you, and you enjoy being treated with an entitled attitude, then by all means shop here. However if you work hard for your money then perhaps look elsewhere, there are much better deals to be had with much better customer service. UPDATE: still zero response to this review. Had the most unexpected shopping experience at ParlourX Paddington. Recommended by a friend, we dropped in on a whim and were the recipients of super-talented, fun, buyer/consultant Loulou and Grace. Really appreciated Loulou’s experience and keen eye and left with some beautiful pieces. Many thanks. .
Went in to buy Lou Lou flap bag, the staff were nice enough, however I felt quite uncomfortable inside as I could overhear from their upstairs section, who I imagine is the manager or boss, yelling at a worker and making them cry. I couldn’t believe it, I think she was getting angry about fingerprints on glass, it seems ridiculous and it was downright disgusting behaviour. The poor workers. I had to leave and buy my bag from the YSL Westfield store instead. Shame. This is not the behaviour I would tolerate being witness to anywhere let alone in a “professional” workplace. Honestly I believe this “boss” needs to have a look at how they are treating people. I have made sure all my friends know about this behaviour!!

I was after a certain item that was sold out everywhere and after a quick google search I came up that Parlour X had it in stock. This place is A++++ on products and their service. They shipped the item almost immediately and was packaged perfectly more than I had expected. Highly recommended
This Fendi jumper just arrived today. The service from Parlour X is the best. Called up, paid for it over the phone and it was delivered the next day.
Parlour X is my place to go whenever I want to find a special piece of clothing or accessories. It’s beautifully curated with a nice selection of International Designers. The staff are always super friendly and I have never felt pushed to buy anything. The girls are always helpful when offering advise on styling. If I ever need anything last minute I have been able to place an order online and it gets delivered to my door the same day. I simply love this store!
