My wife and I have stayed here previously and the room was not as filthy as before. There was blood on the pillow cases and blood on the wall. The outside felt like walking on pure dirt rather than a tiled floor. For some strange reason the bed was on wheels which made it uncomfortable and frustrating to use. The chairs were disgusting with dirt and crumbs still in the creases. The cockroaches in our room probably felt more at home than we did. Potentially our last stay here.
Putrid lounge, dirty sticky carpets, hasn't been cleaned in months don't bother. Obviously been repainted with new carpet and appliances early in the year but hasn't been cleaned since as the cleaning sheet located in the walk in robe attached pictured. Lounge was old had a putrid smell and filthy as pictured. Carpet had stains and were sticky under foot. Rusty dirty cooking utensils still with food baked on them as pictured. Dirty gritty floor in the shower and bathroom. There are only stairs no lift. Pungent smells of spicy cooking and curry permeates the entire building. The TV reception is rubbish and if you need to make a complaint which I would have liked to the staff are nowhere to be found. Avoid it like the plague.
We arrived late Sunday afternoon and found the road closed due to a festival in the park across the road which made getting in here quite difficult and we did not receive any communication of this prior to arriving. Once finally in we soon realised there was no elevator and we were going to have to lug 4 heavy suitcases up 4 flights of stairs which are quite narrow! There is not mention of this on there site either. The apartment is quite spacious but that's about it. First of all the carpet has a hole in it, it has a faint smell of cigarettes, the couch is very dated and really uncomfortable and there is mold growing in places like the window sills. The walls are so thin good luck getting any sleep after 4am with all the birds in the park and then construction work next door starting up at 5am. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with king and two singles and got a queen instead. The queen mattress was so old and soft it almost sank to the base when you sat on it and the opposite with the singles where they were like concrete! I would not recommend this place at all. Only good thing is location.

Easy check-in, 24hr self check in available. Room is very clean. Very comfortable king bed. Lots of room for a studio apartment. All amenities in good order. Secure access, outdoor is secured. Building is happening next door. The staff left a courtesy note and some earplugs, although the noise was not really an issue. Might have appreciated a 'heads up' when I booked. Only booked days beforehand. Otherwise all good.
Can not get any sleep in this apartment. The walls are so thin- I can hear every door open, I can even hear the people above using the bathroom at 5.30 in the morning. The walls are so thin. This is a 2 star apartment.Rooms: 1/5

Great place! Best value in South Brisbane! Good for staying short-term or long-term! The management staff will make you feel welcome and like family. Wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely visit again in the future.
This is NOT a four star property as advertised. It wouldn’t be so bad if you advertised it as a 3 star. Property was very noisy thin walls, doors slamming by default, run down, hard bed, old showers/facilities and smells lightly of cigarette smoke. No window so it was dingy, and I couldn’t open the door curtain as it opened onto the street. You can find better for the same price in south Brisbane or the CBD. I booked for 3 nights, but asked to checkout after the first night as it was impossible to sleep. I asked for a refund the the two remaining nights. They would only provide one night’s refund and made no other offers.
June 2022. Disgusting room and premises, even though I couldn't check in as my room wasn't ready. I said, that's ok and had to come back. Opened the door to mouldy and filth. I waited until the next day to give the manager an opportunity to have it cleaned and I did some cleaning myself. Here is his response " Mould in a bathroom is normal and you shouldn't use the laundry. " Your standards are unreasonable, you should find somewhere else to go and not come back ". He kicked me out for complaining and refunded the remainder of my trip. I spent the next 3 hours trying to find alternative accommodation. Pretty scary stuff as a single woman traveler. Being calm and nice gets you nowhere. I have attached photos of my room. I have also contacted Qld Health.
