Great apartment, good amenities and location. Arena is our go to place for when we regularly visit Australia. Good size apartments, well fitted out with great amenities. My wife and I can easily spread out for remote work. Easy access to downtown using the bus and the local West end area feels great - more like you're at home than in a hotel. Will definitely return. Thanks Arena apartments. Walkability: Good restaurants and supermarkets close by.
Stayed 3 nights 4 days as a family of 5, zero house keeping the entire stay - I don’t mind cleaning up but would had loved fresh towels, toilet paper, laundry powder, garbage bags etc replaced at least once! While making breakfast for my kids I grabbed a bowl and found it was dirty looked like someone ate pasta and then it got put back. Beds were terribly hard and stained. Lounge was stained, it resembled a couch you’d chuck outside for your dog. We were charged parking despite it being on their website and in the room that parking was complimentary for guests! And we still haven’t received our $203.00 deposit from our stay that was a week ago. Staff seem unhappy with their job and not willing to help guests. No way to check out early as there is no place to put your keys safely despite a sign saying to put in box… there was no box anywhere! Only positive was the pool and location.
Loved the apartment has everything a family could need and had great views modern facilities. Good location walking distance to southbank water park and lots of cafes restaurants.Rooms: 5/5
Apartment was clean, staff were friendly. Car park was an extra but will worth the $25 per night. Room had great views, somee street noise but overall a fantastic experience, will definitely be staying here againRooms: 5/5
Very poorly fitted out accomodation. 2 seater couch for 4 people. No glassware, mismatched crockery, stains and mould on blinds. Smelt funny. Building works opposite makes it very noisy from 06:00 to late. Carpets worn and walks dirty.Rooms: 1/5
This place must be under new management? Our QLD wide company always books our stays here at least a few times a year. The room, service and check in this time was very much below average. The room…gross, dirty, I can’t have any of the windows open as it is open to the outside public walk way, so I am enclosed in a dark box looking at stained blinds. The fan in the bedroom was broken, only works on high, because of that the blinds were blowing around hitting the windows, so no sleep for two nights. Working away from home is hard enough let alone not being able to have a bright open, clean room : I asked to change rooms as soon as I checked in but she refused and said that they also closed in 15mins so can’t help me anyway! My 20 other colleagues were ALL staying on higher levels with open patios and cleaner rooms…I’ll most likely have our company change accommodation from now on.
I have been hotel hopping the last 2 weeks due to domestic violence. I had some special requests that needed to be considered before being able to book anywhere for my next stay. The receptionist problem solved for me within the first minute of my call. I also urgently needed early check in, to which they did their very best to accomodate me, I was very happy. The room itself was immaculate, a very well thought out design for the room. Stayed in the 1 bedroom terrace on the bottom floor, wish I could have stayed longer it was a beautiful spot! The morning of checkout I went into reception freaking out about something related to the timing of my return for the security deposit. I decided to be a "Karen" that morning and demanded to see the manager lol. They handled my frustrations very well and eased my mind, and upon checkout, my issues were all adressed and problems solved. Thankyou very much to Arena, the receptionists and the manager that had to deal with my foul mood this morning!
This was the single worst hotel stay we’ve ever had. After requesting city views we were placed straight across from a building site. After getting in late Friday night, the check in process after hours was shocking, no proper instructions and gave up on accessing the car park . On 5 hours sleep we were awoken at 6am by workers and loud drilling from 6:30am on a Saturday which sounded like it was IN our front master bedroom. Guests should NEVER be placed in a position like that or at least warmed and offered a discount! I rang CLIXX support around 7am and contacted support for a hotel change or refund to book another place, by 9am I had to go to the front desk where the girl had no authority and couldn’t put me onto a manager, frustrated I rang support and looped back to the same front desk with no support twice. this was extremely stressful and the was ZERO support, I kept trying until mid day then gave up. They were happy enough to take the $700 for 2 nights but no support what do ever if something goes wrong, very poor management and customer care. still seeking support and a response .
Where do I start!!! Firstly it wasn’t like the pictures the travel agent showed me! We were aware we were a bit early, but were sent up to the apartment anyway and it wasn’t ready, not a good start. The apartment wasn’t at all fresh and clean. The furniture was stained and soiled, not at all inviting to sit on to relax. Furniture was tatty and knocked around. Kitchen sink didn’t fill up to wash dishes, the water just ran through. The fridge had an integrated cold water/ ice maker in it. As I have never used one, I asked at the reception for guidance. The staff had no idea, so told me they had put a notice in for the maintenance person to come to assist the next day. Well! they must be still coming as I am home now. So didn’t get to use one of the benefits in the apartment. The bathroom particularly the shower was in need of a very good scrub, the glass door only swung one way as it was hitting the glass panel. In bedroom only one light over the bed, not at all convenient, pillows not sure how many times they had been used! Just yuck! Not sure how they have gained a 4 star rating, but we were very disappointed on the lack of the overall stranded. Disappointing, it just wasn’t a place you felt you could really relax in on a holiday and that is what we needed. One thing in its favour is, that it is in a good location of some nice shops ~ especially the ice cream parlour. Think twice before booking your stay here ~ not good
Great appartment building Parking good and they take allotted spaces seriously. Nothing worse than coming back late at night and find another has pinched your park. Nice units, clean and well equipped Really convenient for things to do in South Bris.
