spacious. the room is a bit old. not very easy to find which lodge is yours when it's dark so I strongly recommend to come earlier before it gets dark!! the shower room is not big....(dont understand why) even for a 158cm girl like myself. but other places are quite roomy. There is a washing machine and a nice kitchen so that it's practical for a family to stay or if you are planning to stay for longer. 
No public transportation is nearby, so if you are not driving, forget about it. lol

My go-to place for short term accommodation in Melbourne when i need to be near doncaster /templestowe.  Has all the basics such as heat, air con, cooking utensils, oven, dishwasher, wadhing machinr and dryer. Nice little outside seating area and clothes line . Im a bit claustrophobic and this place is nice and airy. Secure parking. Feels very safe. Is quiet. Easy communication with the office. A comfortable and peaceful stay. Lost a star for wifi as its not free and ive had some issues with it. But it does the trick and is reliable once you get onto it. Eating in the forest hill area isn't great. But a few minutes drive and youre in Box Hill which is an asian restaurant mecca. Way better value than Quest and any other similar types stay.  Highly recommend.

Me and family stay for a week, great place to stay, quiet, very nature and warm staff like Natasha Nisha ... Good experience for us 😍😊
