Story

PappaRich is a chain of popular cafe/restaurants from Malaysia which aim to serve authentic Malaysian delights to the general public. We have around 100 outlets worldwide, including Malaysia, Australia, China, Indonesia and Singapore.

Our outlets are decorated in earthy colours to give a cozy, clean and comfortable ambience that suit the needs of those who want either a quick bite or a relaxing leisurely meal.

PappaRich has experimented extensively and developed recipes that resulted in palatable Malaysian delights that appeal to the mass market.

With our open concept, you are able to see the Pappa White Coffee, roti bakar etc being prepared on the spot, adding a whole new dimension to your dining experience.

Broken plates. Drink full of ice even after half an hour of serving. Poor attitude of the wait staff. Didn't feel welcomed at all. Food was okay(mostly bland). We were expecting it to be a lot better as it was our second visit. Three words, Not Going Back!

Absolutely disgusting... this place is a complete disgrace to Malaysia. It wasn't just the food, but staff and service. First of all, some of the food were bland, but acceptable.However, last time, there was a live black bug crawling up around and all over my food. I called the staff immediately, showed them the bug and they took my food straightaway speechlessly. Luckily, they brought the food back to me and they took off the second the plate was dropped carelessly onto my table. There was no sign of apology in any way. The staff here are extremely uncommunicative and irresponsible. It almost seems like they are dead inside, they spoke to us with this deadpan, monotonous voice, it was like talking to robots, in fact it was worse. Overall, from my horrifying experience, this place is extremely dissatisfying and highly not recommended.

I bought a take away dish # N13 - Pappa Wat Tan Hor for my partner on 25/2/18 around 6pm, he started chocking half way through the dish, he turned blue before coughing it up, found it was a piece of very hard white plastic with sharp edges just over 1cm long, it was not part of the container. I feel like taking this further but I'm waiting on the manager's response first.

If we have to pick a PappaRich in the eastern suburbs, we will always pick this one. The dishes always taste better than the Doncaster one. Never have to wait for a table. A lot of seatings, children seats as well. Customer services is not bad. Food is not bad. The only thing that I will complain is that there are always some flies flying around, for some reasons... Its a bit annoying.

This branch of what is quite a reliable franchise provides the usual wide selection of Malaysian favourites. Quick efficient service and tasty food. Love the selection of drinks on the menu.
