Yummy filipino food with good ambiance. It was my first experience and definitely will be back to try their other dishes. This place is clean, bright, buzzing and booking is necessary. Some of the must have lechon kawali, spicy sisig, afritada chicken and pork, chicken adobo, refreshing sinigang na hipon. Their range of desserts will satisfy sweet tooth and we like Truon, halo-halo and ube leche plan. Come for early dinner and other fast as the place is busy and food can take a while to come out. Short walking distance from chatswood metro as well so you don’t need to drive
It was our first time trying Filipino food and my goodness we were not disappointed! Since we didn't know what to get, we found it so helpful that they marked what was recommended on the menu. I seriously loved the pork dish - the vinegar sauce omg I just dunk the pork in there and let it soak that goodness up. Sooooooooo good.. the other dish on a hot plate was super as well and my partner really enjoyed that one too. And the squid fried rice... gee soooo good like I don't know how fried rice can look so plain but be so flavourful and delicious. I wish we went in a larger group so that we could try everything recommended on the menu! The portions are HUGE as well, and the food was still so good if not better the next day like what the heck! Loved it. Loved it!!!!
It was my first time trying Filipino food and it was a nice experience. Delicious large portions. There was so much rice we couldn't finish our platter. The only thing is this place is hard to find. There are no signboards or anything on the building to let you know the restaurant is there or where to find them. Other than that, nice experience!
Had Filo food on occasion, but not familiar with it. I loved all the dishes we ordered: bicol express, sisig, sinigang na bangus fillet sa miso, chicken adobo, leche flan and ube leche flan. The adobo was different to what I'm used to, my friend from north Philippines confirmed that it was different to their version as well. Although, she also didn't like the fact that a couple of the dishes were spicy peppery. Though I didn't find it so. As always, we over-ordered and having the leftovers for work lunch, I find that I still enjoyed it, so that speaks a lot for the quality of the food. My favourites were the bicol express and pinakbet. Surprisingly, because both had bitter gourd, which I don't usually like. And I loved the ube leche flan. The service was good. A couple of tables had a birthday and the staff were very accommodating and helped them celebrate by playing the birthday song over the speaker.
Trying Filipino cuisine for the first time, highly recommended by a friend who is from the Philippines. Interesting flavours, different to what I’d expect. Quite enjoyable. Good to share with a large crowd
Delicious filo food. The Team Angelica Boodle fight is awesome - good presentation, big portion at good prices $35 per head. Bookings required for the boodle fight. The a la carte dishes are also good here. Recommend the crispy pork, taro leaves, garlic fried rice. Friendly service. BYO. Plenty of seating, spacious restaurant.
Delicious food! One of my Filipino friends recommended me this place when I had the cravings for adobo. I liked the adobo but my favourites were the sisig and garlic fried rice. They were so yummy! Overall satisfied but I felt like it was a bit pricey especially after the card surcharge and weekends? surcharge.
The best fried rice I had for a long time! My friend said the squid fried rice is even better but they are out of squid today. Highly recommended!
3.5/5 for us. Fourth visit for us. Had the spicy sisig $23 - forgot photos of the sisig this time but our favourite here! Super flavourful, goes perfect with rice - could eat this with just rice and call it a meal. Not spicy for us but surely you could request one without chilli. Daing na bangus fried marinated milkfish $19.9. Decent - skin’s really crispy. Paksiw na lechon pork lechon in sauce $22.9 was a little sweet for our liking but you can very ‘homey’ type of dish. Pinakbet mixed vegetables with shrimp paste $25.9 was tasty. Also not pictured but from our previous visits, we tried the crispy pata pork knuckle which were one of our favourites.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon with a reservation. Even though more than half the restaurant was empty, we were seated very close to a couple. The food was decent, and it was pricier than other restaurants.Food: 4/5
