A go to place in Pukekohe for groceries and petrol. Though not all brands of goods are available, there is a good range of items. Parking and access is good, and petrol available on-site.
Everything about this store is great except the in house butchered mince. There is more gristle than meat. Was so disappointed. Made kids fav dish and it was spat out as every mouthful had hard gristly bits in it. When you drive from rural waikato address to do the shop, it's not like i can just shoot back to the store to ask about it or even swap it. Just should be this bad. This isn't fit to eat.
Another fantastic supermarket with great people that don't acuse you of stealing when you never have they are really on to it they will get to keep their people that Love shopping at Pak'n'save. After all we the Honest people that keep you open. Not the Security Guards at Takanini pak'n'save they tend to chase you away. So let's all shop at the best Pak'n'save's that aren't close to you. Like Pukekohe. Clendon Manukau, West Auckland and anywhere you can travel to.. Without being beaten up by the big Serurity Guards. It just not on. Never before have i ever been treated like i have been at the Papakura /Takanini supermarket
The checkout operators are wonderful. They greet you with a smile and talk to you so it's not an awkward moment of silence. The staff stacking the shelves are also helpful if you can't find what your looking for they go out ofntheir way and show you. Love it. Keep it up team
Just had a senior moment and came home without some of my purchases. I called the store and asked they did not have. Five minutes later they called me back to say my purchases had been handed in and they were holding them for me. I did not get the ladies name but thank you so much you made my day.. bless you
