Lunch for three - everybody happy. Based on this visit we think Paco y Lola are turning out a really good product (and we were eating authentic Mexican long before it became a local craze). Granted, there's always a disconnect between the ingredients you can get in (say) Guadalajara vs. Melbourne, so I don't expect the same same, but these guys were good. Friendly service, honest drinks. It is not, however, a cheap experience. And since they're advertising Modern Mexican Street Food, you come with a certain expectation about prices -- so I hesitate to hand out a fifth star. Looks like they do a happy hour, though, so watch this space. . . .

Fairly average Mexican food. Most things were rather average, the best being the pork tacos and the 2L Sangria. They hadn't received our online booking so there was some confusion as to what was happening. One meal also took a much longer time to come out than the others. Overall not the best nor the worst experience.

Best Burritos in Melbourne.. but unfortunately worst staff too. Damn disrespectful and all over the place. Coming into the restaurant with 4 other friends we all ordered a chicken burrito "SEPARATE ORDERS" we then proceeded to clarify that yes that's 5 chicken burritos but can we order separately. The man says yes sure sure is that eat in or take away, we decided on eating in. After the delicious meal, we headed to the counter to pay, the man then says "NO SPLIT BILLS" and 5 of us stand there in protest all recalling we asked in the start that it was separate orders. The man just shook his head arguing "no you didn't", "we could do split bill if you ordered separately and paid at the start" and rolled his eyes when we said we did at the start but all he did was tell us to take a seat and that it was "no problem, no problem". Terrible service, as a group of 5 we didn't all have cash or the convenience to pay our friend on the spot giving us such a hard time.

Great happy hours for both drinks and food. We got chicken burrito, quesadilla, fish tacos and and pork tacos and sangria for drinks. Everything was delicious and service was very friendly.. looking forward to trying more of chef special in our next visit.

This is a terrific restaurant that produces delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. Good clean food that is full of flavour, unlike the heavy dishes that some other Mexican restaurants serve up. A fantastic upbeat atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended!
