I had a Bikini Anterior Hip Replacement almost 12 months ago. The result has been brilliant. I'm 58 years old and had put up with a bad hip for many years. I was walking without crutches 1 week after surgery (albeit with quite a limp in the first 2 or 3 weeks). I played 18 holes of golf 5 & 1/2 weeks after surgery. I followed Dr Nizam's instructions and everything went exactly as he had predicted. I highly recommend Dr Nizam and this method of hip replacement - fantastic!

I had a Bikini Anterior Hip Replacement nearly 3 weeks ago and I have to say that the whole process was amazing. Virtually no pain and walking within hours of the procedure. Walking at home within 48 hrs with no crutches and driving after 2 weeks (right hip being driving foot). Everything that I was told was true, now a pain free future. Thank you Dr Nizam.

This is written on behalf of my wife Lorene who had knee replacement surgery by Mr Nizam recently. She found him a very fine practitioner and very easy to talk to and willing to discuss all issues. She found him to be very respectful and understanding. His pain management techniques are excellent resulting in a great outcome for this patient over 70. He consults monthly in Bendigo, too.

Dr Ikram Nizam was my second opinion surgeon for hip replacement. I was impressed with his warm and confident manner at first consultation. Surgery booked with greatest of ease. The consulting rooms staff answered my many, many calls and questions with amazing tolerance and knowledge. The surgery went well as expected but recovery exceeded my expectations. I had the bikini anterior hip replacement method which was much less invasive than previous surgeon offered. I was given crutches for two weeks but used them only for four days. Walking with ease unaided and minimal pain. I would have no hesitation returning for second hip in the years down the track. Follow his instructions rigidly pre and post op and you will be fully rewarded. Just do it. Quality of life is of upmost importance.

I am quite happy with the procedure of total knee replacement. The recovery is very quick and less painful. I am able to drive after three weeks. Over all it is a satisfactory experience.
