As much as Dr. Martin is good doctor, his management/secretary/ assistant, I don't know who is working but every time new person telling me :"You need to call again, I did not call you it was the other lady, she will call you...call next week...and so on..." Here comes 3rd week trying to make operation happen... We talking about heart here. They don't take this serious. And not so nice either.
Not about Dr Martin professionally as such, more about management of my appointment. I was surprised when I turned up to see him today and with no explanation I saw another doctor. I was also surprised when asked if I had any concerns, as these were written into the referral I brought in and which, along with a recent Holter monitor report I also brought in, were never consulted.
Waisted 8 hours in an emergency dept because there wasn’t a qualified person available to talk to. Very avg.
Dr. Martin has been my cardiologist for many years and has shown incredible intelligence and ability throughout that time. He has a great manner which is comforting in stressful situations but also is open and honest.
I have been seeing Doctor Martin for 10 years and sadly due to distance of travel I have decided to see a cardiologist closer to home. I would highly recommend him as he has a great bedside manner and is reasonably punctual.
Had an appointment at 10:15 am, it's currently 14:15 and I'm still waiting.
