Firstly can I just say the service I received from Jo was exceptional! She did up a few quotes for my dining table with different chairs, ETA's has a great knowledge on the products! Great sale price as well! She contacted me to let me know that my items are available for delivery early which was great! Very happy with my dining table and bench! However the 3 stars comes in as the received item was not complete. I received the table and bench, however the bench had no bolts to attach it. I called the store and the lady I spoke to acted like I had inconvenienced her day by receiving a non complete order, I advised that I needed this bench as I had family coming to stay for the Christmas break. She was very rude and said that she could take the bolts off the display one however I couldn't come in until after lunch as they were busy. When I arrived there was not a single customer in the store and she was not apologetic at all. All my interactions with other stuff excluding Jo have been poor, seems like customer are just an inconvenience to them.
Have had the absolute worst experience ever! All contact about our order delivery was initiated by us, even after they claimed we were top priority. Our order is now being delivered in two seperate parts, because they forgot to send the legs with the table top, so none of our table has been delivered. They have messed up twice now with getting the legs for the table then went on to claim in an email to me that they were doing me a favour by not charging me a delivery cost. I paid a delivery cost for my whole order! Not my problem they can’t get it together. Which is eight weeks after the expected delivery date!!! And we are expecting our newborn any day now! So we are to have strangers in our house with unknown vaccination status near our newborn, which they could not care about at all! The company should be paying a courier to deliver the legs to us , but their ever so lovely response was that if they send them via courier they will get damaged. Excuse me!! How can you guarantee they will get damaged???? The company is just being cheap by not delivering us the order. Then the customer service manager doesn’t have the guts to email me or call me themselves, and apparently no one else in the company will talk to us about our complaint. Seriously don’t ever buy anything from this company if you can’t take it then and there! Worst service ever!
I ordered 2 otterman and as you can see from the photos the otterman is a different colour to the couch Due to health reasons I asked and paid for them to be half that height of the standard ones. You can also see the damaged foot. Ordered on 29 January 2021 were delivered 8 September 2021 I also agree with other comments I was the one to contact the store for an update. When I called customer care what a joke about the ottermans I got a recording the mail box was full. I sent an email requesting a response in 24 hours, nothing for 4 day. Gave them 2 weeks to fix issue has taken 8 weeks to get the new ottermans and still the wrong height and no replacement foot. Once we return the ottermans I will never set foot in an OZ design furniture store!
Purchased thousands of dollars of furniture. Waited the long period of time for delivery. The only communication on delivery was when i initiated. Love the furniture but the customer service is another story. The most terribly verbal communication skills ever. Everything was too hard. I will never shop at this store again... EVER. Jo, you really do need to up your customer service skills. I don't like being spoken down to or made to feel I am annoying or being a nuisance when all I wanted to do was spend money in your store. Bad Bad Bad. About to order more chairs from another Oz Design.
Now that I have had the stock I ordered delivered I am giving out a public service announcement to tell others to never buy anything from Oz Design Furniture & in particular the Jindalee store. In all my years of retail I have never been treated so badly as I have been the last few months. Good customer service certainly doesn’t exist in this business & I feel they need to be called out for because it wasn’t just one occasion, it was throughout the whole process. I would of canceled the order except you can only buy the items I was after from this business.
Dont buy anything from this branch. We were told we would receive our chairs within 2 weeks from date of order. Its been 7 weeks and we still havent reveived our chairs. They were supposedly 'assigned to a truck' 3 weeks ago and on there way. We have made countless attempts at asking about the status of our order. They dont know how to call you back or reply to emails, takes them days.
Love the furniture and furniture quality. But they really need to sort out their order management and customer communication. Expected delivery times were definitely not met. Have been waiting nearly 5 months on a "15 week" eta. We have contacted them about our order multiple times, only received one update. I don't understand why the customer has the be the one following up on the order.
Firstly I must say that on this occasion I did not purchase, however when I visited the Jindalee store yesterday I was met by a staff member, Joanne. I have to say that her product knowledge is great and there was no hard sell. When my home purchase is completed I will be returning to see Joanne.

Jo and her Team at OzDesign Jindalee, go above and beyond in providing customer care and service. They are very helpful, respectful and considerate. No rush or pressuring sales tactics at this store.
