Gave one star for the lady who sold us the furniture she was lovely but that’s it. Spent over 10 grand in store and waited 6 months for delivery which was ok but they got dodgy delivery people who scratched my timber floor. I have photographic proof of the damage AND the delivery guys who did the damage as they were doing the damage. If I posted the thread of emails, you’d laugh at how any store/managers could be so incoherent and unprofessional. Do NOT buy from Freedom. It’s not worth the inevitable damage of your property, not the stress you will go through. EDIT: Four months later and the issue is still not resolved. Looks like I will have to take this further up the chain.. Disgusting service from Freedom. If you buy furniture from them make sure you deliver the goods yourself DO NOT TRUST THE CREW THAT FREEDOM HIRE.
I would not recommend ordering a couch from Freedom. The experience has been so poor. Ordered the Loft lounge for $3.5k. Advised order would take 20weeks to deliver. No problems with that. However if you wait 4 months to receive an order you do expect to receive it correctly… the order arrived with one of the lounge pieces missing legs and one of the pieces not even delivered! The solution from freedom? We will reorder and you can wait another 20 weeks for those pieces to be delivered. So now I have half a lounge to sit on?? Go somewhere else to buy your lounge! Not worth the trouble. Freedom have offered no compensation as yet whatsoever considering I have to wait 8months to receive a complete lounge!
Would like to acknowledge the excellent customer service I received today from all 3 members of staff working. Polite, friendly and helpful. Makes such a difference to a customers experience.
Love Love this store and had the best sales assistant Annita at Jindalee Homemaker Centre. Annita showed us various lounges and which types can be arranged in all ways and had the experience and knowledge to foresee by investing her time with you of how your house looks and what types of rugs or 3 seater or 2.5 seater will fit the design aspect of your house. Freedom we stayed with was because of the great quality and super sale and most definitely there Sales Assistant Annita L. Thanks so Much!! Nothing was too much trouble.
You specifically ask not to be added to the mailing list, and also don’t open an account. But still you start getting the marketing texts. So therefore they have kept my details when I asked them not too. They don’t value your privacy and who knows what their data control is like.
First time and last time buying from Freedom.. I purchased Pool lounge chairs, they all fell apart after weeks, I put a claim in, took them months to get back to me now they brush me off. DO NOT BUY THERE.
Our first time dealing with Freedom. We have endured extensive delays. They made us pay up in full to ensure it would arrive on time. We have now been waiting 4 months for our couch when we were told 2, with us having to call repeatedly to ask how long it is going to take. Now we are told it is going to be another month. They refuse to call to update on delays, stating they are too busy with sales. Very poor customer service, with promises to call us back and they don't, being unapologetic, and offering no compensation. How a family member can purchase very similar items and have much quicker delivery is a mystery. We spoke to one of the managers today, Jennifer, who was not very polite and not very helpful at all. From looking at other reviews, this is not an isolated case with Jennifer, as most of the one star reviews mention her name and poor customer service. Maybe the owner needs to look closer at staffing choices. We understand that there may be delays due to COVID, but customer service is everything, and to say the customer service is extremely poor is me just being polite.
Worst store and customer service. Ordered a rug a month ago, and the sales promised it would be in stock in 1 week for pick-up. After contacted them more than 5 times and waited for the call back, they offered free deliverly service to compensate. Today one of the sales said they never made this promise and it was not on record. 100% not recommended.
Renee helped us buy a sofa & some accessories. The next time we walked in she recognised us and we felt like she went above and beyond with customer service. Definitely happy satisfied customers and so in love with our new leather sofa.
Worst customer experience ever. This store makes things so hard once you spent heaps of money with them. Firstly, they gave me the wrong rug colour and once asked to exchange for the right colour, they said it is not a return policy of 7 days. If they had given me the correct colour, I wouldn't have to ask for this exchange? I called up Logan city store - they said "that is fine, bring it in and we are more than happy to exchange it for you" They even told me that Jindalee Freedom has a reputation of not doing their job properly. I couldn't agree more. This is a very basic thing. if you want to avoid disappointment, don't go to this store.
