Been coming here many times. After reading reviews on here, I could not agree more on how bad customer service here is like. I experienced myself a couple of times that the lady Sales rep had been helpful even though she was abrupt or spoke with her colleagues in another language in front of you. My last visit was pretty bad. Again, she was focusing on talking to her colleague and the way she talked to me was rude. I love Oxford and has been a loyal customer for years. I would expect a better customer service for the next visit. Only if some management care enough to read the reviews on here!
Surprised to see so many bad reviews here as Vicky was so incredibly helpful and kind, so much so I felt compelled to post. She was really knowledgeable about the sizing fits and was quick to tell me I could exchange the items if they didn't fit. She even told me to wish my husband a happy birthday I was last minute birthday shopping the day of so my experience couldn't be further from some of these other reviewers. I left with a smile on my face and a bag full of goods. Based on my experience today, I'll be back again.
Really friendly and helpful staff who tailored their assistance for me. The products are of very good quality and even more worth the price during sale. Pretty blown away with my experience and totally recommend this store. Thank you!!
The sales assistant at World Sq was very helpful without being pushy and as a result we purchased a wool suit, shirt, tie, belt and shoes when we were initially just looking for a suit. I'm happy with the purchase and would go back. Others shops were selling polyester suits for more than we got the full outfit from Oxford. Buying there with good service became a no-brainer.
Needed a last minute suit. Charlotte was so helpful. She had me looking my best within minutes. Whole outfit sorted and at a great price.
In Jan of 2022 my son and his groomsmen went in for wedding suits. They were served by Vicky who took cash for alterations and then suits were delivered with no alterations done. By the time we realised suits hadn't been altered with goomsmen from all over the city and interstate, we had to have alterations done locally so suits would be ready in time for the March wedding. Vicky would only consider helping if all the groomsmen went in with their unaltered suits to prove no alterations had been done. Obviously that wasn't a possibility so $85 of his money had to be cash was stolen and the added stress of unaltered suits with short notice was incredibly unhelpful. Three of the shirts were the wrong size and had to be exchanged. The suits were fine but I think what she is doing is illegal and all efforts to talk to head office by me have been ignored. Very sad. Be careful!!!! Maybe try another Oxford. Vicky can't be trusted.
I felt the sales person provided misleading information and the quality of their products is poor. If you only buy from Oxford when they have a sale you might still be over paying, but sometimes this can still make sense if the item you're buying is your style or you just don't have any other option :
Horrendous customer service from an Asian lady who told me was the manager of the store ! I was there to exchange the faulty shoe I had bought ! She became all aggressive and defensive. This lady needs to be trained on customer service !
The staff were responsive and took initiative to help out with sizing and product choice. Gave info that was helpful without being pushy. A great experience
Love visiting the Oxford shop at World Square for the service provided by Vicky. Vicky is one service provider who remembers all the customers who walk into the shop, even if the person did not purchase an item. Vicky is helpful, understands the needs of all the customers and provides individual service.
