Ox The Baker Ox Noonan on Clarendon in South Melbourne makes amazing bread, in fact, without any doubt, the best bread anywhere in Melbourne. Organic. Sustainable. Long Ferment. No Additives. REAL BREAD! The St Ali coffee and the toasties, especially the Veganski, at this bakery are just as amazing. You just have to try Ox's no-chemicals, no-nonsense, natural sourdough bread. My fave is the Long Ferment Grain loaf.

Good coffee and the best bread in town! Also as might be expected, brilliant toasties - try my namesake. Three cheeses and vegemite  - lip smacking! Pastries are coming soon, I hear.

Was a little bit too early yesterday and almost too late today but well and truly worth the wait three days to make this bread but I'm sure it won't take that long to eat

Tried the double fermented country loaf and it was excellent.  It becomes beautifully crispy when toasted, and has a wonderful flavour.

No joke best bread I have ever had. Ever

The orange and sultana loaf was delicious
