Otahuhu Health Centre

You need to make sure your actual opening hours are up to date online and communicated clearly . I was referred here by another after hours clinic as they were at full capacity. That clinic, and the online details stated that their closing time is 10pm. I rang to confirm and there was no answer. I drove there and the signage said the closing time was actually 9pm. At 8:30pm it was already closed. Time is of the essence when you're transporting someone who's sick.

5 stair rating is for Dr Lee. I have been with him nearly 5 years now and my husband and baby also with him.He listen to you and understand your feelings and pain. Really appreciate his hardwork

I had my consultation with Dr Lee a few hours earlier and I have to say he is one of the best doctors out there - always helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. He’s a straight shooter also and clearly well-respected in the community!

Absolutely useless!! The receptionist needs to find a new job ,she is incapable of fulfilling her roles. I was waiting for 1 & 1/2 hrs after making an appointment. Find somewhere better ,it wont be hard.

I have been with this GP clinic since I was a child, I'm now 33 and live in Manurewa, Otahuhu is now to far for me to travel which is quite an inconvenience, I am saddened that I am leaving this clinic but they did me well for over 20 years. I think all GP's should have walk-ins and its cheap guys!!! Well a lot cheaper than where I'm going anyway lol

Unprofessional and having to call several times to get hold of a receptionist and getting a nurse to call back and she doesn’t ‍ too bad the dr’s are nice esp Dr Chong lee the other staff that makes the dr’s look bad at this place would not recommend this Health centre.

I've been registered here for 10+ years and have gone through a lot of Doctors/Nurses in that time. I believe Dr Lee is the heart and soul of this place. He's thorough, informative and caring. I would give it 5 stars had it not been for their front of house staff/reception who seem to only physically be there and not mentally.

The receptionists are always rude and indifferent. The phone is always kept unattended and sent to after-hours even during working hours! I kept dialing the health center number and kept getting sent to voice-mail but when I arrived to the health center, there were 2 ladies sitting at the reception ignoring ringing phone calls... The doctors especially Dr. LEE and nurses are exceptionally good and knowledgeable which is probably the only reason why I'm still registered with this place but, the health center is in dire need of a positive change in management/front office team.

The experiences that I have had with this clinic is not so great. I am a new patient. The 'covid' measures are too extreme. I personally feel that the appointments are rushed and the doctors do not take enough time to diagnose. You get what pay for I guess, and cheap is not always good.

I’ve recently switched back to otahuhu health as other GPs have crazy wait times. Not happy this time round, I had flu symptoms and took a R.A.T test at home- it came out negative which I advised the reception over the phone and they booked me for an evening time slot yesterday Only to show up to my appt and Dr. Ukmata Bujar who was there advised, I need to go through their R.A.T test first already advising him I had negative R.A.T that day at home but the nurses are done for the day and he couldn’t conduct the test himself I told him I’m pretty sure I don’t have covid as I had come out of having this within the last month, I just need someone help with prescriptions for pain and dr certificate for work as I had taken day off. He advised that he too is trying to keep himself safe and scared of what might happen to him at his old age, and if I didn’t like it, I can enrol at another GP or come again next day and see them when a nurse is available- another day off work and by the time I come back, I won’t need to see them as I’ll most likely be better I don’t want to leave this GP as I had Dr Lee before and all other staff have been so helpful hence my 3 star rating instead of 1 star. I have rescheduled all my dr appt to avoid seeing Dr Ukmata Bujar
