Best campground ever !!! The view is stunning over the water. Perfect spot to enjoy sunset or to go kayaking and snorkelling. Toilets were cleaned. Bring everything you need and a lot of water. The site can be quite windy.
Great camp site, the host's were fantastic, toilets clean, not a bit of rubbish in site. The snorkelling was sensational, lots of turtles and colourful fish, just up the road to Turquoise Bay if you want coral.
Very well maintained campground, Caretaker has this place on point, love your work Jeff. Great snorkelling and hiking around the area.
Beautiful camp-site out at Yardie Creek. Water AMAZING. Just be warned, not alot of shade so vans/tents heat up! Still... avoid the packed commercial Turquoise Bay and head further out to to Sandy Bay and Osprey Bay. You won't be disappointed.
A large casual camp ground right above the beach. Large, level sites with clean long drop toilets. Great snorkelling on the doorstep, hundreds of turtles and good variety of fish. Sandy Bay is a short walk and is a pleasant swimming beach, popular with kite surfers.
We didn't camp but snorkeled here . Amazing, clear blue water , coral , fish and turtles.
We didn't stay here we just went for a look. It's right by the beach, big sites spread good distance apart. Would be hammered by the wind when blowing as it does on the west coast but worth the risk for the outlook and being close to the beach with snorkeling swimming kyaking and small boat access. It's off grid camping, you have to book online as national marine park area.
One of the most beautiful pockets of the world and one that needs to be visited, experienced and protected. Ningaloo Reef and the opportunities to experience it with our stay at Osprey Bay Campground made this stop one of our favourites on our 10 month lap of Australia. Kite-surfing, kayaking, snorkelling, swimming, exploring, relaxing and of course, the wildlife both marine and on land is mind-blowing. Well kept facilities and spectacular scenery. We had our camper trailer but suitable for vans, tents, swags, there was every sort of accommodation there - but make sure you book in advance! And make sure you put it on your Must Do list!
Beautiful campground, clean drop tiolets. Amazing views of the ocean and awesome sunsets. Great swimming & snorkelling..lots of colour fish, turtles, octopus, etc, plus coral. Only negative thing is the big winds come on some days and dusty in the morning if there is no rain for a while. Also bring a battery drill to drill pegs in as groundis hard. Great happy hour at 5.00pm.
Awesome camp ground Short walk to great snorkelling and fishing
