Save our lives in Christmas when most restaurants are closed. Surprisingly delicious!! And great service!
Went with friends and shared several dishes from the menu. Every thing ordered was delicious. Also good came quickly our waiter was friendly.
Went to this Nepalese restaurant after reading these reviews on Google. Have to say, very dissatisfied.. The place is pretty sad with no decorations nor nothing fancy at all. I order some chicken curry and dumplings as an entry. It's not bad but average, and the rice wasn't included with the curry. You got exactly what you order nothing special. Which is fine, but not for 32$..
We were looking for a good place to eat and stumbled across this restaurant. Decided to give it a go and we loved it. We have never had Nepalese cuisine before and so we did not know what to expect. We left very happy and satisfied. We will come back.
Awesome food and best hospitality, I had a chickpeas sandheko which had typical Nepalese chatpate flavour. Best Goat curry, I've ever had and cashew finger which was new for me but awesome. Can't stop myself to go back again!!! Good job guys, keep your tasty food as it is and make Nepalese food popular in Canberra!!!!
I had a pre-show meal here with four friends. The staff were exceptionally friendly and warm. The food was absolutely terrific as were the Nepalese beers. Recommended, I will return for sure.
My visit to this restaurant in Canberra with my wife for lunch today was superb. It reminded me the taste of food that I had 7 years back in Namche Bazar, Mt. Everest base, Nepal. Chowchow Chukaune and grilled whole quail both were new items for us but the way they were cooked and served was awesome. Taste, portion, food quality perfectly maintained. Descent staffs and service. I recommend this newly opened restaurant to everybody. I definitely will visit there again.
Delicious food and very friendly and welcoming staff. They were accommodating about vegan options and gave some free pappadums because the flat bread had milk in it. My family really enjoyed the buff momos and himalayan tahr curry - all very unique and authentic!
last week i had been to meet my friend at Canberra and had fun time living with her.The next day we decided to go for shopping and when we were hungry then we had a thought that we will find a Nepali restaurant.Then we came across Origin Nepal restaurant and bar.We ordered a full course meal which arrived before time and the taste was priceless, we ordered more. We could never feel such homely environment with welcoming customer service, cleanliness and affordable price.The original taste of Nepal has traveled and landed at Canberra.Must try everyone..
Nice location, the decor was pretty good. However, the food was not very tasty. The Thukpa was a complete waste. It was edible, however tasted like boiled instant noodles. The service was decent, but the food quality was not upto par at all.
