Honestly so saddened by the fact the new owners have no care at all. Told to wait 45 mins for pick up, no problem but you will actually be waiting over an hour. Wrong meals because they seemed to have lost ours but wrong orders. Contacted them again got told to send photos and again nothing further. Food had no flavour or nothing in but onion. Soup may as well look like baby food. Disappointed. Turning customers away because they had a table at 7:30 for a group of 27 people but was empty and it was 6:30. Honestly really poor guys so poor. Will not be returning.
It was the most disappointing meal ever, ordered sweet chicken & sweet corn, barely any chicken and very watery. Ordered combination with garlic, there was so much onion and not much meat, sweet and sour pork also disappointing, it is drastically gone downhill. Called them to advise how disgusting the food was did not receive a call back at all. Will not return at all.
This place is very good value for money.. I don't think I've ever walked away feeling hungry. The style of Chinese is what I would say is heavier. Read thicker sauce. I particularly liked the Mongolian curry. Have been there once since the new owners took over from 2nd week in Jan25 and everything seems to be as per previous arrangements.
We visited Oriental Perl and were seated quickly, but unfortunately no one came to take our order for about 15 minutes. During that time we made eye contact with the staff several times, but although they smiled at us, no one approached our table.nnEventually we decided to leave. On our way out we noticed three waitresses standing at the reception area, which made the situation even more confusing as we had been waiting for quite a while without any service.nnI hope the restaurant can improve the attentiveness of the service, because being left waiting and unsure whether anyone will come to your table is quite frustrating for guests.
Very disappointing. They need Zero Star.nWe visited Oriental Pearl restaurant for long time about 8 or more years and found the food taste is gone in the rubbish dump.Chicken Satay comes only lots on onion and few bits of chicken no vegis. Vegi Satay now no more tofu this year Did 3 visits when we arrived we were seated quickly, but unfortunately no one came to take our order for about 15 minutes. Drinks were served but no food till 45min.nnFinally food were served in takeaway containers?? Asked food to be taken back and served as we having dine in.nnEventually food that was ordered and doubled checked with the waitress, still did not came, what we had ordered.nTo this time our guests left without having their dinner due to all this mucking up.nnFinally ended up at the counter to pay for what we not ordered and found another guest complaining to the owner for waiting an hour and still no food served.nnThere should be a place where dinners can attach the pictures of the food.nnThe restaurant owner should pull out the magic fingers and start to really concentrate otherwise the restaurant will end up closing down due to no guests.
