When I tuned up there were was a young guy and girl having a conversation. They looked up and saw me but their conversation was more important so I waited. Then the young guy came over and decided do me a “favour” and find out what I was doing there. I guessed he was looking up my appointment on the computer because all I was asked was my name and not spoken to again until I was told to sit and gestured towards some chairs. Overall less than average service and the optometrist was nice so I gave them an extra star.

I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful service I received. After trotting around looking for someone to repair my much loved glasses and being told it was not possible, even by the upmarket shop I purchased them from, the "can do" attitude, friendly and efficient service and perfect repair from OPSM earns them a 5 star +. Thank you.

Please read the sequel below as well. Today I was treated to one of the WORST examples of customer service I've had in over 40 years thanks to the very rude "gentleman" who inspected the crumbled wing piece of my Ray Ban glasses. See the pictures. Although I purchased them around middle of this year he said they looked at least 6 years old and had been treated very roughly. What nonsense as I wear them most of the time - on my head not my shoes! - sir. He did not think it may be faulty material. On checking my records he saw they were in fact less than 12 months old. He was still mumbling about very rough treatment but agreed to send for a replacement wing. If it does turn up I wonder how long the other wing will last. Either way I can't see myself or my wife ever buying any service or product from them in future. Should have gone to SPECSAVERS! THE SEQUEL. To finish the story I need to report that after posting on Ray-Ban Facebook, contact from them and Parent Company LUXOTTICA, the faulty frames were replaced with a new pair of glasses including lenses at no cost. Thanks OPSM for recognising the importance of caring for customers.
