The reviews regarding the reception staff should not stop you from visiting this clinic. I had a skin cancer check and as a result, needed to visit three times. On all occasions, the staff were friendly and kind. I suspect there has been a recent change as one of the staff was being trained. The doctor I saw was excellent and professional. Highly recommended.
Visited the clinic for a routine health check and pre employment vaccination. I was seen by Dr Prathmesh who was extremely kind and very professional. My whole experience right from the receptionist to the attending nurse was wonderful. Definitely recommend the practice . Thank you .
The one doctor I have been seeing here is lovely, caring and helpful. Treating me with respect. But after calling today for a file that was supposed to be sent to me of my own information I was treated rudely and abruptly by the director and told to get a lawyer to request it and I would not be getting it for free. I now have to do a RTI and take it to the privacy commission and will fail to meet the deadline of sending my information by Monday. There was no issue of getting a copy of my information a few months ago when the director was not involved, and it was free. As for the demand.. what a joke, I arranged it to be sent at my appointment yesterday and was told to fill in the form and it would be sent. My call today was to enquire why it had not arrived. As for you accusation of theft, I have the email clearly marked from reception at your email address, it was emailed to me from you .. I fail to understand how this is theft. Your further accusation of me being a racist is extremely upsetting, firstly it was a phone call, race did not enter the conversation. I do not even know who you are or where you are from. I have many friends and adopted family from many countries, I see hearts, souls and human kindness not the colour of someone’s skin, every person on this planet is one race, human!! Your judgment of others and lack of protecting personal information is concerning. ********* in addition to your edited comment. I believe the public has a right to know before using your service, that you have no regard for peoples private pending legal matters. You have made allegations that are false. Your racist false accusation fails anyway as the doctor I’ve been seeing at your practice is from a country other that Australia .. she has been my doctor for a year and I have constantly thanked her for her care, not typical racist behaviour at all. Perhaps you need to consider not adding your personal issues and judgment into replies. I simply called to find out why the information promised to me the day before had not been delivered. The rest you can deal with in your practice protocols. The breach of my privacy I will deal with through the ombudsman and privacy commission. Update December 2nd email from Kontiki medical centre… because people need to know the truth.. just received this email Good afternoon Tania We are happy to comply with providing your medical records, there will be a $750 fee to retrieve these medical records, I look forward from hearing from you on how you would like to proceed……please find the tax invoice attached.. See attached photographs that clearly state the whole truth! I will happily testify to the complete chain of events under oath and present all of my evidence.
Customer’s honest opinion of their experience: Long waiting times 1 hour at times . Reception staff aren’t very polite, some are very nice some aren’t. Two doctors are rather good however the other experiences take away from that. I waited over an hour twenty minutes and then got a quick call to discuss and dr unnamed literally hung up on me ! Saying my time was up ! How unethical !
Every experience I’ve had at this practise has been terrible. Reception are not friendly, seen one particular doctor who treats you horribly. Long wait times. Recently was charged for a longer appointment when I was in there for 5 minutes for a script renewal. I called them as I wasn’t sure why I was charged so much. They didn’t have record of me being charged this larger amount and told me they would call me back in a few minutes. 2 days pass never received a call. I call them and now they tell me there records always said the large amount charged was on file. Confusing when I spend 20 minutes on the phone with a receptionist who couldn’t figure out why I was charged such a high amount as it said I was charged just a standard appointment on my file. It’s as if they just didn’t call back and instead changed my appointment type so they could keep the higher charge. Terribly practise, with terrible experiences every time I visited when I couldn’t get in to see my regular doctor.

Some of the most friendly staff I’ve come across who took my diagnosis and treatment very seriously and professional. Will be visiting on future visits.
Really Poor service, ring 5 times to get an answer from them. They promised me a phone call back which I never get back. Charges are too high. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would not even give 1 star if I had choice.
Texting people who are not even patients that you have a new doctor is not good marketing. Simply annoying. With no option to unsubscribe either.
Really BAD EXPERIENCE with this medical centre. - 15 min consultation - 135$; - Referral to do a exame in a SPECIFIC clinic which charges the double price of Medicare Table Price. Probably doctor earn comi$$ion for each patient she refers; - After that, they want to charge me ANOTHER call consultation fee PAYMENT to give the feedback on my exame by phone, which I refuse to pay. I requested a copy of the results so I would find another doctor, and they refused to send it to me. It is a real JOKE! Only thing they care is about MONEY! So if you are reading this, think twice before book an appointment. You probably can find a much better service for half price they charge.
