Would not recommend Oobe. Much longer service turn around times than competing Authorised Apple Service centers. Poor communication from staff. Also if you call for a quote for an out-of-warranty repair they don't charge as per Apple's recommending pricing, they charge a whole unit replacement (which other Authorized Apple Service centers charge significantly less). It's really a shame we don't have Apple stores in NZ, if we did places like Oobe would be out of business.

At least two of the reviews above were written by Oobe staff. I think that's a bit dubious. However, Oobe Riccarton's staff are more friendly than the Oobe Blenheim Road staff who can seem bored or inconvenienced by customers and who gave me inaccurate and very expensive advice

Great service, the staff are very attentive and informed on the products available and appeared to have a wide knowledge base particularly on apple products. The staff all seemed very friendly and approachable, and I was offered assistance straight away. I was looking to buy an ipad or a Macbook/Macbook air for university but wasn't sure which one would be better or most appropriate. The staff were happy to answer any questions I had and explained the best options for my situation and price range. I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything and the staff seemed to go above and beyond to help me. Will absolutely be going back there.

Signed up on a contract for a 8 plus and it was done with ease they also helped me set up my new apple watch and re download all my info from iCloud which was super helpful.

Went in here for my new iPhone and they were incredible - set everything up for me from my old iPhone to the new one. I'll be back!
