The entrance was hidden and seems dodgy at first, but once you get here you'll see a rather unique bar with medieval style. Love how they incorporate the theme to the menu and every corner of the place. The lights were a bit more dimmed than seen in the pictures. Still they gave a lovely service with and their drinks didn't dissapoint.
Pretty happy with this place. We will be back I’m sure. Good range, reasonably priced compared to other city locations. Cocktails were good. Lots of other options, too. Staff were friendly and organised. Rooftop location was nice, indoor bookcase styled space like “old mates place” had a great decor and vibe.
Loving this speakeasy bar! The style/deco and atmosphere takes you to a different world. The highlight is how friendly and joyful the lady who served us was! Truly refreshing. Rare to have incredible staff like this. OH and delicious cocktails!
First visit & absolutely enjoyed the lovely Saturday afternoon! We were greeted with a huge wave by the friendly waiter & had a nice cozy lounge seat. Extensive range of unique cocktails & ours were delicious & pretty! It was a dodgy flight of stairs we had to climb but once you open the door of the bar, the welcoming atmosphere just draws you in! Great place, would definitely visit again!
Just a couple of flights of frankly skanky looking stairs and a nondescript door transport you to this little gem of a bar. The decor is equal parts moody speakeasy and eclectic library, with a dash of tiki - and the staff are super friendly and laidback. The cocktails are incredible, particularly the Bakers Dozen, which may be the best whiskey cocktail ive ever had in spite of somehow only having 3 ingredients, excluding the adorable mini croissant. The bar snacks are also not to be missed!
Fantastic hidden bar with a roof terrace. Very cool interior. Finding the place was a challenge, totally worth it. The address, google maps, and the mail box were helpful. Beautiful cocktails! Had a lot of fun. The staff were really friendly, and just good craic tbh. Would recommend. There's even a lift up if needed
A truly extraordinary cocktail bar with talented and friendly staff who take pride in their craft. Imaginative drinks tucked away behind the scenes of Sydney CBD. A flavor for everyone exists at this place, they also have Philly cheese steaks if you’re hungry. There is also their sister bar Ginny’s canoe club in the basement of the same building with different vibes but still that speakeasy feel if the upstairs bar is too crowded
What an amazing experience. The drinks were all amazing. Made right in front of you by extremely knowledgeable bar staff. The food was extraordinary. Honestly the best cheese steak I’ve ever eaten. I will definitely be back.
Amazing bar with a sus location but it transports you to one of the most hidden gems in Sydney! Drinks: 5 / 5 stars Service: 5 / 5 stars Vibe: 4.5 / 5 stars Cocktails ACTUALLY TASTE NICE! My favourite is It Takes Two To Mango. The Pina Colada is something special and a great shout for special guests haha. The Pandan cocktail was also also. Service was very open and nonjudgemental. Attentive to requests as well and up for a good conversation anytime. Since it's a rooftop bar, it is a hidden gem at its finest! Although, I highly recommend not going on peak times since you won't be able to find a seat or any good spots. I've been here twice at non peak times and still got seats that were not exactly comfortable. I will come back to finally chill at the group seats! LOL. A little goal of mine for this place. How To Get There: Walk at Clarence St and find a sign that says "Video Game Bar". It's on the side where The Lobo is at. Walk up the little stars and go to the last level in the elevators. And the door should be on your left. I know, very very sus. I wouldn't recommend it as a first date unless you wanna flex how much you know the cities. :/
An intimate bar with a rooftop area. Perfect place to wind down after a long day and the views are not too shabby of the Centrepoint Tower and surrounding buildings. Cocktails were delicious! Good to get there between 5pm and 5:30pm so you can find a place to sit. We arrived around 6:15pm and could only find a corner to stand.
