Story

It our long term desire to communicate a vision about a way of eating, going way beyond food, starting from the moment a customer comes into Oh Calcutta to the moment he or she leaves. It is difficult to touch people through food, but it is what we aim for every day, provoking some kind of emotion so when leaving the restaurant people take with them a part of the event remembering a particular element that they had enjoyed.

A wonderful experience. The food was amazing and customer service was superb. I'd personally recommend the three salmon tikka. Well done Oh Calcutta. One of the best Indian restaurants in Auckland.
It's so wonderful to find an Indian restaurant with atmosphere and subdued lighting, so often they are plain and minimalist. Not so here. The curries while a little on the expensive side are very tasty and although we were not asked what heat we wanted, came out spicy without taking our breath away.
