"Initially we shied away from this location when this address used to be a car yard. When our dear friends opened up the Fresh Choice, we were sold to the idea of opening yet another Little India in 2013. We were thrilled to open the restaurant on the 15th August, the same date when India got its independence. Since then, Harry and the team have immersed themselves in the Glen Eden community and beyond. With an abundance of car parks, Little India attracts families, supermarket shoppers and groups in all numbers.Come and experience our delectable food with very personal service extended by Harry and his dynamite staff."

Being a Pom it is always difficult to find a good curry house in Nz. This one is right up there. Great menu and all cooked to order. Staff and service excellent. I highly recommend. Can’t fault tandoori Chicken or even the mushroom version. Dopiaza and Jalfrezi my favourites and the great Vindaloo and madras.
Last night I ordered x5 meals. One being a chicken sagwaala, it tasted buttery, was very thick. So thick that I could hold the container upside-down and the curry stayed in place. The chicken was orange. See picture. The other x4 meals ordered were also not to standard. None of the 5 meals were enjoyed. I've never had a sagwaala look or taste like this. I have enjoyed many meals at little India Glen eden over the past 4 Years. But after receiving this. I will not be going to or recommending this restaurant again.
Amazing from the start. I was greeted so warmly by a lovely gentleman, who's customer service was excellent. I ordered a beer while waiting for my food and got some complimentary popadums. The smells coming from the kitchen got my attention and mouth watering The food was hot fresh and delicious. Definitely be coming back. Thank you guys so much. I ordered the lamb korma curry so good Highly recommend little India
Best India restaurant in Auckland! Service was very nice. And friendly staff helped us choose the meal. Platter and curry were awesome and very delicious. We did enjoy the time with yum meals. We will come back here again. Highly recommend. :

Bobby's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he was happy to make recommendations based on our preferences. Throughout the meal, our glasses were never empty and our plates were cleared promptly. The staff seemed genuinely invested in ensuring that we had a great experience, and we certainly did. The flavors are absolutely amazing here! I ordered their customer's favorite curry and my partner had the Korma. Both full of flavor and fresh ingredients. We are both looking forward to our next visit so we can try more of the tempting dishes! Entrees we had samosas and pakoras both tasted authentic and not drenched in oil like other places, fresh and crisp. Finally to top it off the customer service was friendly, well timed and made a good effort to check up on us : Sweet you guys soon!!

One of the best places to eat authentic Indian food. Loved their vegetarian dishes and Karahi Chicken. Good location, comfortable sitting and great service. Highly recommended.
If I could I would give minus rating. It was our anniversary and we took our family for dinner worst decision. We sat for 20 minutes no one came to take orders and after we gave order they took very long to serve . Food quantity was very less , naan were not hot and no butter very dry. Waste of money we paid $235 for this experience. Worst experience ever never going back .
