This is one of the big restaurants they have. You order at the balcony and they delivery it on your table. I've been told this is the best burger in NZ do I had to try it. I ordered the Bacon Backfire $15,20 and the Spuds with Aioli fries $5,90. Nothing to complain. Just perfect. I loved it.
Nine Koreans visited. The owner served french fries. They probably gave it because they had children. The children liked it and I was very grateful.
Needless to say, Burger Fuel burgers are top-tier! & the Customs St store in particular has always been my favourite! Staff are always cheerful and polite, prompt service, and the food is always 100%!

This is the kind of store that will get people back for more and stay loyal to, from walking in wondering to walking out smiling. Andrew has got to receive the employee of the year for best customer service!
Been a loyal customer at this store for years, somehow for the first time I watched the whole process how they make our orders, oh man I wish I haven't had done that. The woman who takes orders at the register also helps assemble burgers in the kitchen, she served half a dozen customers and handled cash notes, coins then straight to the kitchen using her bare fingers touching everything from the buns to salads, pickles...I understand you guys are busy and multi tasking but shouldn't you be at least wearing gloves or give your hands a quick wash?? We were horrified by what we saw, went home with the food nobody wanted to touch. It's a sad decision we would never go back if no changes are made on how you handling food.
We had great burgers and shakes. Really great service and the young whaine checked on some young girls discreetly who had a gentleman trying to join them. Well done for looking after your customers
Hi Chris, thanks for your response. As per last review. I am actually the partner of ada and was also disgusted about what I witnessed eg the lack of hygiene with the woman touching money and going straight around to touch all ingredients. It's only a matter of time before someone gets really ill with that sort of procedure. We are not after any compensation and the reason I did not say anything at the time is I was not sure if my burger would be further compromised if I annoy the staff member into remaking it. Even Mcdonalds get all staff to use gloves at all times and not having anyone handling money making burgers at any times. That would be a great business model for you going forward. Staff touching burgers and ingredients in this day and age is really filthy. We will not come back unless the policy is implemented. We do not like writing these type of reviews but felt it necessary on this occasion. The hygiene standards in the shop have been dropping over the years especially when you are not there.
