Had a lovely experience at 1947 on Valentine’s Day with my partner. Food was incredible especially the lamb chops and the staff were lovely too. Highly recommended for a smart casual experience. Definitely spend a bit more to sample a few different menu items!

Food was awesome. We went on a Sunday for lunch and it was quiet to start with. Good service and our waiter talked us through the dishes which really helped us decide what we wanted to eat. We loved all that we ordered. Yum! Definitely try 1947 eatery.

Awesome place...been many times because of their delicious food. Their jalebi is just amazing.

Food and ambience is good. The costs are exhorbitant. Will say go there to celebrate good Indian food if you feel you are ok with the prices.

Stunning. 1947's RestaurantMonth menu did not disappoint. Still dreaming of the succulent lamb chops entree... the paired wines with each course is a nice touch too! Highly recommended. Bloody lovely service too.

What an awesome Indian restaurant. Every dish has a different flavor. No dish is so spicy you feel your lips after. They have amazing cocktails and each one has a story.
