Really great little Italian place. The food was honestly some of the best I’ve had in Melbourne. It’s all very traditional and simple, but the way they put the ingredients together is just spot on. Definitely a place I’d come back to again

The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely at home. Their attention to detail and passion for creating a memorable experience really stood out.nnEvery dish was beautifully presented and full of authentic Italian flavour. Our favourite savoury dish was the Blue Swimmer Crab Spaghettoni—it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and perfectly balanced. And the desserts were simply spectacular! The perfect way to finish an amazing meal.nnIf you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine with exceptional service in a beautiful setting, I couldn't recommend Officina Gastronomica Italiana more highly.
This place probably serves very authentic pasta and tiramisu. The food is classic and well-executed — tasty, though not especially surprising. It’s a good choice for a casual catch-up or everyday gathering. The indoor and outdoor areas have quite different vibes, but both are nice. Personally, I prefer sitting inside nnThe service is 15 out of 10. The staff are incredibly kind and very attentive to every table.
How did I not know this restaurant existed in Melbourne? The most delicious wine I’ve had all year incredible pasta dish really cozy and welcoming vibe. The staff made us feel really welcome and special and they accommodated my gluten and dairy free requirements. Absolutely amazing. You have to come here.
This is our second time back to OGI. The food, service and atmosphere is exceptional. Every small detail of the dish is well thought out. I also am gluten free and absolutely loved the unique choice of gluten free pasta. You can feel how genuine and passionate the staff are. A local favourite for us - thank you so much to the OGI team
