I wish I could give zero stars.nnUnfortunately, this wasn't a one-off experience. Every time I visit the Malaga store, I'm reminded how poor the customer service is.nnThe biggest issue is Click & Collect. The whole purpose of Click & Collect is convenience, but every collection turns into a long wait while staff try to work out where the order is. It regularly takes 20–30 minutes, sometimes even longer, just for someone to locate an order that was supposedly ready for collection. Staff often seem unsure of the process, don't know where items are stored, and don't appear to have clear communication about online orders.nnThe return policy is just as frustrating. If I place an order online for Click & Collect and discover the item isn't suitable when I collect it, common sense would suggest I should be able to return it immediately at the same store. Instead, I was told to take the item home and contact a phone number to organise the return. That completely defeats the purpose of collecting it in-store and creates unnecessary inconvenience for customers.nnOverall, the staff come across as undertrained and disorganised. They often don't know where Click & Collect orders are, aren't sure about the status of online deliveries, and seem unfamiliar with the store's own procedures. The entire experience feels inefficient and frustrating.nnOfficeworks seriously needs to improve staff training, streamline its Click & Collect process, and review its in-store return policy for online orders. Customers shouldn't have to waste so much time for what should be a simple collection or return.
I came into Officeworks today with my partner hoping to purchase a new smartwatch. We approached a staff member - a woman with short black hair to ask whether the item was in stock. Instead of checking for us, despite already having the device in her hand, she immediately asked whether we had checked the website and told us that next time we should select the store online beforehand to see stock availability.nnAs customers, we genuinely didn’t know this was something we could do, which is why we approached staff for assistance in the first place. Unfortunately, the interaction came across as dismissive and unapproachable, and it felt as though helping customers was more of an inconvenience than part of the role.nnOverall, the experience was disappointing and lacked the level of customer service I would normally expect when visiting the store for assistance.
Incredibly understaffed. I waited in line an HOUR to pick up a online Print and Copy order. There was one total staff working that till, and one total on checkout despite 30+ people lining up to be checked out.nnAlso, my Online Photo order was completed but I did not receive a text saying that, and when I called I got a voicemail telling me to call back another time.nnDO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.
I’ve been here multiple times for printing business documents and marketing materials and two times Yasmine has assisted me with exceptional service. Both times have been really busy and despite numerous print jobs to complete and a line of customers, Yasmine maintained a warm smile and a helpful attitude with everyone. She was also transparent and offered a solution efficiently when I had an issue with my prints. Unfortunately, I do have one feedback, Officeworks Malaga has been understaffed multiple times which has caused long lines and 2-3 staffs scrambling to meet all of customers needs. But overall, I am very happy with Yasmine’s service.
I came in looking for an affordable printer since I'm a broke uni student, and was served by wonderful Christian. I had no clue what I was looking for, asides from any printer that isn't a HP.nnChristian put extra effort into helping me, by price checking the inks to determine which printer was cheaper in the long run.nnExtremely helpful and cost effective!
