I printed two sets of flyers within the same order via their online system, and only one set arrived on the stated date. It's been a week since and I've been following up regularly as the job is time-sensitive. Been constantly referred back and forth to other stores namely Mentone, head office, and no one is taking ownership of the job. As of the time of writing this review, I am still waiting on part of my order placed on 26/9. Prices are affordable, but if your task/project is time-sensitive or you just want to have confidence in any customer service whatsoever, unfortunately I cannot in good conscience recommend this store/the Mentone store.
The print line is always huge and everytime I have used the self serve machines to save time they NEVER have receipt paper and the staff seem surprised when you tell them so you need to line up to get one printed anyway. I ordered a large format canvas print for over $120 and went back to see if it was ready. Was told there was an issue with the printer and they would update me. Never got a call. They called a week later saying they now don't have the parts for the canvas and have to order them in and are unsure how long it will take. I mean they had the order over a week they couldn't realise they needed the parts during that time?? Heading to get a refund and go elsewhere. I will say the guy who originally helped me with the order was super friendly and helpful. He is the shining light!
Staff members cannot find appropriate items, claiming that they are out of stock. We were sent elsewhere but then we just went home and used click and collect. Then had to drive back to the store to get it.
Please Officeworks, staff your stores so that you can keep up with even the simplest of tasks and demands. Super-frustrating to find yet another store that is woefully understaffed when we need a hand with something. If online B2B is the route you're taking, you're off to a good start!
Good little store, Mentone has much better stock levels through. However the print queue is crazy, only 1 person working at 8.30am?? Was at Mentone the day before and they had 6 staff in the print centre. Jen were very efficient and nice but I felt sorry she was so under the pump! Numerous other staff floating around stocking etc, but I’m guessing they’re not trained…might be worth doing some up skilling.
I went to this brach for photocopy. The queue was so long. They had board displaying for sending documents to print. They did not mention there that it is self serve email. I sent my documents there and waited about half an hour in queue to get served. When i went to desk for service they send i have to send my documents at different address. Upon asking why they did not display that address at front, the staff was very rude. After waiting that long in queue, got very bad service. Really disappointed. Just wasted my time.
Making you wait for 10-20 minutes is quite normal thing even on a quiet time zone where
The amount of times I have to wait for over 30 min for one thing, all because one person is at print. Once I waited 20 min, and when I had asked for my sheets to be bound, she says "can I do it after the customers behind you?"...the customers that have been there for 5 min ? and what's even funnier is that it takes 5 min or even less to bound. Disappointing having to always come here, as it's the closest one. UP your customer service & the respect.
I agree with previous reviewers; the self serve photo machines are close to being useless and it’s due to the weak wifi reception in the store. No other option than to connect my iPhone via USB and then scroll through my photos on screen, which takes forever. To give you an estimate, took around 40 mins to print 20 photos from my iPhone; far too long! Other than that, store is alright. Plenty of parking out front, staff are ok.
I'm 100% sure 99% of the customers never had a good experience. Always long que just to print, why can't you guys hire one more person?!
