Yeah it’s cheaper than the art shops. But the lack of parking is so ridiculous that I cannot even count on my fingers the amount of times I have just decided to go to the art stores and spend my money there instead. Despite being in the city, it’s not even central enough that people rarely would walk, as it’s on the edge of the CBD. This store has lost out on hundreds of dollars of sales from me alone, because despite having two car parks, there is NEVER a free spot. I know of a lot of other people who don’t ever bother trying to go to Officeworks anymore and just go somewhere else, even if it’s more expensive. This store would be busier and more profitable if it moved to a location where there was proper parking.
This review concerns business cards. I ordered from their premium style of officeworks designs, so it should have been easy. The cards arrived wrongly printed. The store cannot help and you have to phone. I've had to call the help desk twice over the last 10 days and despite profuse apologies no action has been communicated by email - no new order number.
I'm generally pretty happy with officeworks, I usually find what I need and there is always someone about to help. I purchased the computer I'm using now from there and the chap was very knowledgeable and helpful. But today, after a successful shop, a gentleman named Chris went above and beyond the call of duty and assisted me with repairing my flat tyre! I was so happy that someone was there to offer assistance/do everything for me and I really can't thank him enough. He's a good egg that one. What more can you ask for from a stationery shop? Thank you Chris, you're a legend!
Very bad service. Ask how many Ultimate eftpos payment cards can be used before purchasing large amount item, they said YES. Once you bought the Ultimate cards and bring to them, they only allow you to use 2. That’s ridiculous and how such bad customer service survive? Put all the risk to customers and change the rules whatever they want and never follow the official policy. They will say YES for everything before you purchasing. And say No or making lot of limitations when you buying. Really bad and irresponsible merchant.
The service desk had no staff at all in attendance, it took quiet a while for a staff member to acknowledge that I was waiting to be served. For a central service of this size the Lack of parking And traffic hazard it creates really needs to Be addressed.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Went in with the intention of purchasing and walking out with a macbook. Was told they may have an ex display out the back that they could do cheaper which would have just been a bonus. The salesman returned to inform me that unfortunately it had been sold. I explained that I still wanted to purchase one and asked what colours they had. But then to my shock the salesman turned around and left in a hurry and vanished. I searched for 30 minutes and could not see him anywhere. So I went to the registers to explain the situation and ask where he had gone half way through selling me a macbook, but the female on the register told me she wouldn't spend her money here and to go somewhere else. Gobsmacked.
I bought HP laptop Envy 13 icore5 . After you use it for sometime it locks itself and asks for Bitlocker recovery key. When you try to contact Microsoft and HP service numbers it is so hard to get them and they don’t give you right solutions. If you ring HP number in Australia it goes to India . One of my friends told me she lost $300 to scammers while calling/ using the links to reset they sent . I would not recommend anyone to buy HP products. Poor thing they don’t have proper technical support services in Australia. When u ring the website number it goes to India and different people pass your call to different people asking your address/ details etc. it totally sounds like scams . They don’t answer professionally. Be careful . I am returning the product to the seller Officeworks and claiming full refund . Because I can not put on and use at all. I regret a lot to buy this product. It costs me $1225 .I am losing lots of my personal documents. I have spent lots of time to catch the right person to solve the issue. The return calls were never on time. I am not taking the product back without full refund .
Poor customer service and product knowledge in the printer department. I ended up ordering the product I was after online for a better price and in 1/8 of the time I spent in store today.
Can rarely get in to the store as both tiny carparks are always full with queues. Staff seem to avoid customers so you practically have to chase people to ask questions.
Customer service was great!! Easy to park and good price. I went to office work for printing today, I was a little concerned about the customer service as I saw some bad reviews about it.But from the experience I had today, the customer service was great, and printing service was fast and good price. Parking was easy, there are parking space in front of the store.
